It's always a good idea to copy and paste the keyword to avoid mistakes since it's a long one. It's also great to add the keyword: CAS so that you're in two galleries. Please remember to separate keywords with a comma and a space.

Okay, I am done. I didn't complete all the challenges, but I also didn't combine any that I did so I am good with my number!! Jen, it was totally fun and I would LOVE to be a CAS sample maker -- just sayin
We celebrate Independence Day (in the U.S.A.) today because this is the date of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. But this event was neither the beginning of the struggle for independence, nor even of the Revolutionary War. More than two years before, the colonists protested the control of the monarchy over their affairs without any representation from the colonies by a protest over the latest tax on tea. When the governor of Massachusetts refused to return a shipment of tea to England, Patriots destroyed the tea by dumping it in the harbor. We now call this event the Boston Tea Party.
Your challenge is to make a TEA themed card.

Thank you so much for the wonderful challenges, I am done! I did all 22 challenges, although I did combine 2 of them. I am happy I got 20 cards done. I have been away from crafting for a long time and my card stash was running low. Now I have a few more to add To my collection. Here is a link to my gallery, Splitcoaststampers Member Galleries - fishymom - Handmade Cards & Crafts
Now I am off to look at everyone's wonderful work!

There are no time limits to how long it takes to make a single card. However, you will want to make as many cards as possible during the 4 day time frame (July 4th ;) ). On July 8th, 2 random winners will be chosen from the cards submitted. The 2 winners will be CAS guest designers in August!
Not that I would expect to be one of the random winners... but anyway, is there an exact time for the deadline? Just curious.

This song has TONS of imagery that might spark creativity no matter what country a person is from.
America the Beautiful Words by Katharine Lee Bates, Melody by Samuel Ward
O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!
O beautiful for pilgrim feet
Whose stern impassioned stress
A thoroughfare of freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America!
God mend thine every flaw,
Confirm thy soul in self-control,
Thy liberty in law!
O beautiful for heroes proved
In liberating strife.
Who more than self their country loved
And mercy more than life!
America! America!
May God thy gold refine
Till all success be nobleness
And every gain divine!
O beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!
O beautiful for halcyon skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the enameled plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till souls wax fair as earth and air
And music-hearted sea!
O beautiful for pilgrims feet,
Whose stem impassioned stress
A thoroughfare for freedom beat
Across the wilderness!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till paths be wrought through
wilds of thought
By pilgrim foot and knee!
O beautiful for glory-tale
Of liberating strife
When once and twice,
for man's avail
Men lavished precious life!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till selfish gain no longer stain
The banner of the free!
O beautiful for patriot dream
That sees beyond the years
Thine alabaster cities gleam
Undimmed by human tears!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
Till nobler men keep once again
Thy whiter jubilee!

I knew I couldn't do all the challenges, but I enjoyed every minute of it. Eventually I'll be able to make them as time goes by, maybe when I'm on my vacation. Enjoyed looking at everyone's Awesome cards though.
Thank you hostesses for such a fantastic variety of challenges! I wish I'd had more time this week to join in more of them. But I definitely have a great springboard to work off of for the next few weeks!
Just uploaded the cards I made. I couldn't get to all the challenges. But I started off pretty strong for the first few. Great challenges!!!! I had fun playing along w/ the ones that I did get too!!!

My visitors have left so I finally have time to do some of these fabulous challenges. I needed a couple of thank you cards so chose challenges to use for those:
And two more that I decided to do as Christmas cards - not exactly suitable for July 1st or July 4th holidays but I need to catch up with the Christmas Card Challenge and some of these CAS Holiday challenges really work well for Christmas cards!!

This is what they said in the first post about the challenges/time line:

Sorry for the wait ladies! I always lose track of the days when there is a Monday holiday. I even missed garbage pick up. Not such a big deal in the winter, but July... Ugh!
The gallery looks beautiful!!! Thank you so much for playing along!
I'll be PMing the winners today. I also have 2 randomly drawn alternates in case these stampers are unavailable for the challenges. ;)
Random winners:
jdmommy & vdutcher
