Congratulations to the top 10 -- can't believe I'm still in it. This final challenge was the hardest for me, but I came up with something to eat at a Holiday Movie Party.
Wow! I cannot believe I made it to the next round!! Awesome challenge Denise...I just got home and ran straight to my computer...will get busy creating tomorrow! Congrats to all the rest that made it to the next round also.

Top Ten & Shout Out
Congratulations to the Top 10! Good luck with your third and final project. A shout out to all who entered ... Woot-Woot ... it was fun and I so enjoyed seeing all the cards and the talent! I'm sure it was "tough" for Denise and the past DT to narrow it down to 10. Keep on CAS ing! Hee! Gabby
Oh My Gosh! Thrilled and surprised to be in the final 10!! What an honor to make it even to the dance!!! I sure hope my brain is working so I can come up with a card.....after making over 750 Christmas Cookies and other assorted candies of which I have no idea the number. All I know is when my head that pillow at 11:30 pm I was out like a light!! Good luck to everyone in this final round

"Challenge #3 : If you know me at all from CAS or from VSN you know how I like my cocktails...sometimes I like to pretend I'm Sandra Lee.....so for this challenge show me something you would eat or drink at our Holiday Movie Party! And if you want you can even include a recipe!"
Face it, Dee, you ARE Sandra Lee and that's why I hang with you!

Well, much like Denise I do LOVE my cocktails...and although I am mostly a wine gal, I also love the specialty Martinis that are saved only for the Holidays for me...The stamp I picked could not more perfectly show the Holiday spirit to me. This little guy is so adoring and happy as he looks up at his gal...note...see their blush on their cheeks....just coloring this image made me smile...cause being with the one that is most special to me is my favorite part of any party...Movie or otherwise.
This is my entry for the 3rd round of this wonderful, fun challenge.

LOL well, I don't wanna brag but......let's just say COCONUT SNOWBALL MARTINI at my cookie party......
Ingredients
3/4 cup half-and-half or 3/4 cup light cream
1/2 cup coconut-flavored rum
1/4 cup vanilla vodka or 1/4 cup vodka
1/4 cup cream of coconut
ice cubes
Directions
In a pitcher stir together the half-and-half, coconut rum, vanilla vodka, and cream of coconut.
Place ice cubes in a martini shaker.
Add coconut mixture.
Cover and shake.
Divide mixture among prepared martini glasses.
Makes: 4 to 6 drinks.
I added some shredded coconut and used small Ball Mason Jars to serve it....tastes like a coconut Frozefruit bar...
It sure was fun trying to run with the big dogs on those first couple of challenges, good luck to those of you still in the pack!!

Denise, thanks for sharing your recipe...sounds absolutely delicious! And thank you for all the time you've put into these challenges...especially at this busy time of year. Good luck everyone!
Denise -- I think that Coconut Snowball Martini recipe may make me a convert from Merry Merlot. Boy, that sounds delicious! Thanks for the recipe -- I'm trying it out this year! And with that note, here is my final card in the challenge:
Whew! I'm cutting this too close for comfort! After getting home from a weekend away and feeling like a truck had run over me, I was able to finish this up this morning!
Looking forward to the reveal tonight! I may be a few minutes late to the party as I have church obligations on Weds. nights. Good luck to all. As I look through the galleries I see so many great cards and talented ladies!
Just so you know...the suspense is killin' me! LOL!
Hahaha!
I got sent home early because they know I can't handle strong smells without getting a headache and they were going to light sparklers in the basement. Isn't that cool how that worked out! Now I get to be here for the fun. Anybody else on here waiting?
I'm here, and I'm not even in the running--- Gotta tell you all, whoever's chosen, dt or guest dt, you're in for an awesome experience! Denise is a gifted coordinator, and you'll make friends with other dt members. Great fun!

You are all EXTREMELY lucky tonight because my back is kinda out of whack and I have taken some muscle relaxers already so this wont take long....I won't make you wait all night and drag it out like I usually do....
I'm here! Supper has disappeared and now I'm sitting at the computer editing photos and waiting for the fun to begin! I can't imagine how difficult the judging was this round! So many great entries!!!
