Hi all! I have participated in a few challenges over time (I love the limited supplies challenges) but strangely enough had not heard of the CAS untill this week! I've been participating in the CAS challenges almost from the beginning ... I've missed a couple, I'm sure. I've never hosted a challenge here on SCS, but I have started a thread or two.
I've designed for Diva Impressions and Healing Expressions Art Stamps but both of those commitments have concluded.
Being that most of my cards are CAS, it's hard to choose but I'll pick these:
I have done 5 of the CAS challenges, and the 6th week I didn't post my card, because it didn't turn out like the sketch, but I liked it anyway.... The sketch was good inspiration! Here's that one:
I've been debating on this for the past two weeks, and now that we are down to the last day... I just thought, what the heck!
I have been stamping for about 12 years. I started participating in challenges here on SCS last summer. During the cold boring winter here in Minnesota, I got hooked!! I have not posted a challenge before, but have posted a thread and replied to threads. I have participated in almost all of the CAS challenges. I am still hoping to catch up with the ones I missed!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! We have been so excited to see so many people supporting CAS. We had 51 people who applied for DT. Wow! It was truly agonizing to only choose 3. Sooo, I hope to see ya all again at the end of the summer... and anyone who didn't apply who have been playing regularly in the CAS challenges.
The 3 new stampers on the CAS summer DT will be revealed on Sunday night as they show their beautiful samples! :mrgreen:

I was a VSN hostess for the April Mini. This was my challenge.
I've been playing along with some of the challenges on and off for the past couple months. I've only been on SCS since September. I'm finding that I really enjoy the challenges.
Oh Man! I am so bummed!! I was totally going to apply and thought we had all day today to get our submissions in! I would have applied sooner but we left urgently to the other coast on Saturday b/c my MIL had a heart attack! Thankfully she is OK!
I can't wait to see the new DT you chose and will definitely by applying for the next go round!
To be clearer next time, could you give us a deadline date and time for submissions?
I thought the same thing...I thought we had today to get them in...Oh well maybe next time...I cant wait to see whos on the team because there were so many great entries!
Wow! So much wonderful talent here. I am enjoying looking at everyone's creations. Great inspiration ladies. The support for CAS cards is fantastic. I love CAS cards and love the challenge.

Yes, the new DT will be revealed Sunday night around 11PM EDT when the new challenge is posted for CAS17.
No more guessing! ( that includes by PM ;) ) It's hard to keep it a secret as it is! This is hard work. Seriously... I'm not a good secret keeper... so be nice. :mrgreen: I don't know how Jenn does that for a whole month!
Yes, the new DT has been contacted and we're already planning the summer challenges. We should have the whole summer done by next week.
I know there are many sad people. :( But please don't run away!!!! It's really hard to choose and we have many more seasons. At least I know that my former & current DT and I can pick 3 more each season and that takes the agony away... a little bit. There are sooo many fab stampers here. Please keep playing in the challenges. And keep applying! :cool: I would be sad if you give up. Seriously!

I am new to the CAS challenge thread--I just found it a week ago--but I have looked through all the submissions for CAS15 (B&W + one bold bright), CAS 16 (redo), and this DT call, and I have to say there is a LOT of talent here.
I'm sure it was a very tough choice on the DT. There were way more than three of you who are talented enough to be on the team. So as Miss Boo (Jen) said, there will be a new team in the fall. And even if you are not on the summer DT, you still are very inspiring to many of us. I will look at your future challenge submissions and be awed and inspired. So please keep participating!
Can't wait to see who was picked!! I know that I missed out on this thread, but it's for the best - my husband is deployed and I told myself that when my current DT spot winds up I wouldn't do another until he gets back at the end of the summer/early fall. I totally would have tried out for this if I had seen it in time ;) Sick kiddos though, and no husband means little time to keep up with what I love. I'm excited to see who made it this round....until Sunday!!!!
LOL....I saw the challenge did you? hehe....but none posted yet of the others...I am so bad...Darn I regret not trying out it would have been fun!

By the time I decided to go ahead and give it a try it was too late...I was a bit hesitant not being sure I would have all the supplies needed...maybe next time I will try out...Its fun waiting to see who made it! Have fun stalking...hehe...

LOL...I thought there must be others out there stalking! I keep hitting the refresh button, my husband thinks I'm nuts ;) but heck this is my time and all of the kids are in bed. It's so quiet now.
