I need all the help I can get to keep me on track with my Christmas cards

I need to make 5 a week to keep my on track for my 1 Dec posting date.

****RULES...PLEASE READ!!***

Checking in: Each month, once your 10 cards are complete, upload your photos to your gallery (please use CCC10 in the title so that others can search) and post a message to the thread that will be set up for each month. In the past there was some confusion because several of the months had more than one thread started. Therefore, please use only the thread that I start for each month or you might be missed.

As an incentive, there will be a small monthly prize. At the end of each month, everyone who has completed their cards for that particular month will have their name put into a drawing for a small incentive prize. At the end of November, if you have completed each month, your name will be put in a drawing for the "year-end prize basket�.

So, let's make sure we are prepared for Christmas 2010 and let�s get stamping!! :-D

I'm still here, just behind. My daughter moved out in Jan and my granddaughter will follow her on the 4th of July. I've had this precious toddler pretty much to myself for 3 months out of the 6. The other 3 months I share her with my hubby (he's gone 3 weeks at a time and home 3 weeks so it avg. out to 50% on and off time hehe)

House is going to be quiet but I'm already planning the redesign of my space so I can get stampin!

I have all my Christmas cards made for this year... over 150 ... so I think I need to take a break... phew!!!! What a relief to get that all done.. .Address labels done... and will sign and send in November... I guess it is a little early to mail...LOL.. Thanks for the push...

I bought some terrific square Christams buttons on Sunday so I think I'll make those first, I have the finished idea in my head, just have to see it it works how I hope it will

To any other Aussies, Spotlight has started to get in a great range of Christmas type stuff so go and have a look. I blew $60 in there on Sunday without even trying LOL

Hi Judy~

I haven't had the chance to "meet" you yet. I was wondering, if it is allowed, if you would like to change your goal, to something that you know you could do. It doesn't have to be all of your cards...maybe you send some store bought cards too.

Or, if you were down, let's say 50 cards...maybe you would be willing to take donations of some cards to match the number of cards you do make. I know I would be willing to donate 5 cards...if you make 5.

I don't even know if this is "allowed" in the rules...but it will get you ready for the Holidays! I don't want anyone to feel that making cards is a drudgery for them or anything but fun. Would this inspire you at all>?

I am just a stamper. I have no say on anything here at SCS. I just wanted to share a couple of ideas.

And, if you decide no cards this year...then so be it. I just wanted to offer a couple of ideas that ran through my head when I saw your post.

This is my second year doing this and it is so nice to have all of my Christmas cards done by Nov! No more staring at the stamps, trying to come up with an idea at the last minute. Also, the other stampers in this challenge offer so many inspirational ideas with their cards!

Hi, everyone! Long time, no see me! Sorry I haven't been around. I just wanted to stick my head in and say Hi, and to tell everyone that even though I haven't been able to keep up with the challenge - since March, for a LOT of reasons that I won't bore you with, this challenge enabled me to have 18 Christmas cards ready to mail that I would not have had if I hadn't joined this group. Thank goodness I did! I'm working on finishing 10 more, and that will be it for this year. I don't have a huge amount of cards to mail, but I know if I had more, I would use them. I plan to join the 2011 challenge, and I'm hoping I can do better, but even if I only do 15 again, that so much better than none! Thanks for the inspiration!
