There is no 'deadline' to completing your Christmas cards for October,
It's never to late to join....
You can join anytime during the year. . If you need to skip a month or two, that is perfectly fine.
Since some of us are moving ahead quickly with our CCC and time is flying by very quickly I thought for October using birds on our cards would be a perfect way to keep us going!
If possible use a cardinal or a red Santa hat on your bird!!
Happened to be playing with a stamp set and non traditional backgrounds and colors, so here are 2 cards for the October theme of "birds." I'm making cards and matching them to themes! I need a total of 100 for this year's mailing list. I have about 15 done to date, varying fronts and characters. A few are angels - my favorite image set. I'm also playing with a gingerbread house design with cricut gingerbread people in front. Diane
I was on a roll making cards and ended up with enough to take me into October but I hadn't even checked the theme as I didn't realise I was so far ahead. Only one more month to do - woo hoo!
I've finished my amount for this theme - and I had such pleasure creating these cards from a paper stack I have had for some time. I wish I could purchase it again! Diane
and the variations on the blog seen here: ( because they are mostly the same thing with slight changes) and the card sizes are all so different they don't look good in a group shot either) Stacy's Memory Triggers: Wednesdays Christmas cards
I have started making Christmas card and have forgotten to post them here. I don't recall having birds for Christmas but here is what I have made so far.
I have one more card to complete for CCC October. I found some really cute stamps (mostly my sister's!). When I finish that last one, I'll post my cards.
Wanted some different shaped cards for this month and saw a design for a circle step card which turned out to be quite easy to create and loved the result.
