I alrerady made and posted 2 cards....with the CCC09 in front, don't know where else to put them, so just posted them when you upload cards.
Beautiful cards!!!! Where you uploaded your cards is fine! Just when you're finished you January cards, post to the January CCC09 thread so I know you've completed that month of the challenge. Thanks!
I would like to join in. I have never posted anything to my gallary. I will try to figure out how. I have a month right?. I always obcess over these things but when you get down to it, it is not that hard normally.

Welcome!! Yes, you have till Jan. 31st to post your January cards, BUT...if life doesn't go the way you plan, you can still post your January cards after that date but you just won't be included in that month's incentive prize drawing.
Count me in!! After buzzing around this place for a couple of months I thought I might as well join on in with the fun ... and after 120 cards this year (all in November over the Thanksgiving break) making 10 a month sounds like a much better plan : )
Hi Mary -
ok - I will give this a shot...........
I don't get to scs often so I am not sure I'd even know where to look for this thread for updates!!!
thanks for the motivation!!!

Mandie- you won't be sorry you joined!! Welcome to the group!
I'd love to join this challenge! I need to get more involved and quit lurking!:-D
Time to use stamps and supplies and not just collect them!

After reading how other's have already started, I completed about 7 or 8 Christmas cards last night. I had spent the weekend with my bf and when I got home I just "wanted to craft". So, I did. I made some birthday cards as well. I told myself with this Christmas card goal/challenge that I will be doing bday cards as well as I never have them done in time and bdays go buy without me sending them. It's horrible. So, I have a double challenge.
Y'all, I've been thinking, and cleaning out the stamp room, and thinking some more. I'd really like to save more money this year. I'd like to be able to look at my stamp-to-spend totals and be like "wow", ya know? I'm challenging myself to do as many of my Christmas Cards for this year (09) from stash. I know I've got what I need for at least two months already, possibly three, as I'm thinking of using non-traditional DP anyway.
Just wanted to throw that out there in case anyone else wanted to join in on that.
I agree with Kana, I am going to try and use what I have and not purchase anything else towards making this Christmas cards. I certainly have enough for several stampers!

After spending 3 days cleaning out my stamp room and finding all sorts of paper/embellishments and most importantly adhesives - I am going to join this challenge. I didn't even send out Christmas cards this year and thought it was really really wrong to send out boxed cards (gasp), so next year people will be surprised My resolution right now in writing is - this is the year I get my Christmas cards done! - Oh and not buying any more embellishments and paper till at least 1/2 of what I have is gone. LOL
O.K., I've been lurking. I don't need too many Christmas cards as I had made a lot this year and didn't send them. Would I be able to join if I only sign up for 2 a month? Believe me, that will still be a challenge for me!

Yes, ma'am...I've put you down for 2 cards per month. Welcome!
Hi Mary, thanks for taking on hosting the challenge. I had such a great time doing this in 2008 and even though I skipped a couple of months in the summer and didn't make ten each time I was still ready to mail all my cards before the Christmas rush this year...it was a great feeling! I'll definitely be participating again this year... Christmas cards are my favourite cards to make and it seems easier to do when the snow is on the ground than when it's warm and sunny out, so I guess I'll get busy! Happy New Year!

Good idea! I've been stamping as long as Stampin Up! as been around and I have a lot of supplies I've put aside just because it's not currently in the catalog & I can't replace. I think it's time to use some of those supplies. Might be really fun! Thanks for the suggestion. Happy stampin'!
I'm definitely in. I have a serious need to get cards done well in advance of Christmas for '09.
Carole- I've added you to the list! Thanks for joining!
As a side bar, I see you live in Maryland- we're having a Ft. Meade Shoebox Swap on March 7th if you're interested. There are still a couple of spots open. These swaps are always LOTS of fun!! Here's the link in case you'd like to check it out: Forums at Splitcoaststampers
I would love to join! I never made any Christmas cards this year and am so disappointed in myself. I also have never posted anything (mostly out of fear of not being good enough) so this will be good for me on both fronts. I also need to use up some of my stash so please sign me up.

I definitely NEED to join for 5 cards a month. I only got about 20 cards made this year and needed about 30 more. I hope this challenge will help me to have all my cards ready by December 2009. I have plenty of Christmas supplies that I never used this year. So I'm in if it's not too late to join. Thanks.
