Here is the thread for the Christmas Card Challenge for January 2016!
For January, lets go with Pat aka GeorgiaBabydoll's suggestion to use music on our cards! Use musical notes, be inspired from a holiday song, or just use part of a song's lyrics on your card.
Please leave us a link once you've uploaded to your gallery and be sure to use CCC16 in the title or in the Keywords!
Reminder, this is just a suggestion to help get you motivated and start on your 2016 Christmas Cards!
There is no 'deadline' to completing your Christmas cards for January,
It's never too late to join....
You can join anytime during the year. . If you need to skip a month or two, that is perfectly fine.
1. "The Christmas Song" - Nat King Cole (1961)
Co-written by singer Mel Torme, "The Christmas Song" became one of the defining performances of the career of Nat King Cole. He recorded the song at least 3 times of which the 1961 recording is often considered the best. Sometimes the song is referred to as "Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire" from the lyrics in the song's first line.
Kathy,
Themes are just here to motivate you and hopefully inspire you a bit!! Do your thing and post what you have done, we love to see all your cards!!
Ok...music...this will be interesting...yup I am a tad crazy...yup that is me...and I have corrupted my son...poor boy...well his fav Christmas song is froma Twisted Christmas CD from Bob Rivers called "walking around in women's underwear" I THINK I NEED to make his Christmas card based upon that song!
I just looked back and see it is music. I may try making several of the same card. I don't usually do that, but with no extras left over this year I am either cutting my list back or assembly line work!

Some cards I will make 4 - 6 of the same. Depends on how well I like the final card! If I really like the card I love making additional ones!
I send to so many different people that making several of the same kind does not matter. For cousins all in the same family, I make sure that I do not send them the same card! I am funny that way! Or is it that I just feel better with each one getting a different handmade card! Lol!
I am a bad bad girl...I found an image to use on the spoof card for my son...unfortunately I will NOT be able to post the card when it is done...I would get kicked out!

Di, I only had one card for January that went with the theme! At least I'm getting a head start and they said the theme's are for inspiration only. I try to do one on theme to thank the person who came up with the theme, after that I just get them done!
