How do I attach a thumbnail to my post so you can see my card as part of the post?
How do I post a link to my card?
Appreciate it.
Gail
When you are posting a response scroll down below the box where you type. There is then a box called "additional options". Go to attach files and click on the "manage attachments" button. It will bring up a screen to let you select what files you would like to attach as a thumbnail to your post.
To post a link bring the page you want to link to up on your screen. Highlight the entire address in the address bar and right click. Select on the copy option. Then go to where you want to post the link to (in the reply box) and right click your mouse again. This time select paste and it will copy the address (link) into the box.
I just finished my 10 January CCC cards with 2 days to spare. I have uploaded, but still pending. I am going to try the thumbnail. Thanks again girls for getting us organized for Xmas 06! Nancy
Yeah! I finished my January cards tonight. I did an extra two for good measure. I even uploaded my card ~ here's the link. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I need to finish a few things on my cards and then scan them but I won't be able to scan until tomorrow as i have a full day ahead of me today. So I will do that and post it tomorrow!

I got my January cards done, just in the nick of time...but I'm not sure how to upload the photo. I scanned my card (first time scanning!), but it's in the wrong format?! I guess it's a TIF file instead of a jPeg or whatever the lingo is. I tried to upload, but it won't let me since it's in the wrong format  Can someone help. I truly appreciate it!!

Off to stamp something...somewhere...
Ya -- even though there are just a few days left, I've finally finished my cards for January. The actual doing wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be -- just the decision of the card itself. Looking forward to getting February done before the end of February is here. LOL
Whew! I think I figured out how to do the whole scan, upload thing. At least I'm pretty sure I did. LOL! My card is still pending. I hope you all like it!
Here's the link:
I had a really tough time getting started on these... it's just too soon after Christmas! But the technique challenge today motivated me to do them. I got carried away with cutting, so I made 11.
I did 3 individual cards, one of which I hate and will probably fix one day when I have inspiration, and then 7 of the same card... Here they all are, currently pending upload:
I wanted to get a head start on next months cards. I didn't want to wait until the last minute like this month. I went up to my craft room and started cutting and stamping. Before I knew it, it was 1:00 am and I had completed another 50 cards. My husband doesn't understand why I am making our Christmas cards now but I am so thankful for those who have organized this challenge. Last year I was still stamping some of my cards on the 23rd of December. Thanks again,
Linda
Wow, I made it! I have to laugh at all the people who posted a week ago saying "better late than never". But I'm not really late. I still have over 4 hours until the end of the month! Being tax season it is a little busy for me. But I'm so glad to have 10 Christmas cards ready and waiting. Thank you for organizing this.
My cards are waiting approval. I'll get the link when it's approved. Couldn't find my mojo & figured a CASE (from my upline) was better than nothing! Is there a prize for LAST card completed each month?
ETA: The card is now approved in my gallery, I don't know how to do a link directly to the card, but the link to my gallery is at the bottom of this message in my sig line.

Here's my card for my first 50. (I haven't made them all just about 4 tentative.) It needs something/needs improvement. Please share if you think of something Also, I have looked all over the site and couldn't find a specific place to ask for friendly critiques. Am I missing it?
I actually did it... The February set of TEN is complete. I just now finished. I am seriously loving this.... This challenge is really making creative juices flow.
The picture is pending, but it is posted... Sort of. Whew!!
(I'll post the link/thumbnail later)

I enjoy every minute of it.
Just in the nick of time but I finished my first set of 10 tonight. I used the Holiday Blocks set. My camera is broken at the moment so I can't upload a photo, but at least I actually got them done.
I finished my February cards this morning. 1 & 1/2 hours from start to finish. I love the fact that I won't be rushing around in November to get cards made!!
January is over and there were 75 ladies completed for the monthly drawing!!!! Good job!!!
A highly technical method of drawing the winner was done.......I told Linda to pick a number between 1 and 75 and she choose 21. The 21st person on the spreadsheet with their cards finished in January is.........drum roll please.......jailbirdstamper!!!!!!!!!! Laurie, if you PM your snail mail address to me, I'll get the prize out to you.
A couple reminders........
***remember the "no upload Sunday" and give the moderators a break (I was guilty last month!!)***
***clarification on the "first done" prize--the person who uploads first DURING THAT MONTH wins a small gift (and for February, that would be hedgehog0929---please PM your snail mail to me).***
Let's have fun, make some cards, and reduce our Christmas stress!!!!
Will there be a new thread for February cards or do we continue to use this one? Not sure since this is my first challenge. Actually I don't know why I'm so concerned about this since I didn't get my January cards done until the last day. But I just want to be prepared in case I get more organized this month. Ha ha!!
Okay...I know it is February 1, but I am done with my January cards now!!! I did 16 of them and finished around 1:00 this afternoon. Unfortunately, I am unable to upload any pictures of them. I don't have the proper equipment to do so! Hope to get a better handle on my February cards!!

I so forgot to post, but I did finish my January cards at the last minute! I hope this is the correct place to post that I finished my Jan cards.
No pics yet :( Will try to get some pics taken and up soon (need to take film in and get a disk).
I made 10 and they are red card base with a hunter green strip. I crinkled a cream colored strip and aged it with creamy caramel and p ut that on top, then a lighter green strip with the stamped words "We wish you a Merry Christmas" in musical strip on the light green strip.
sorry, will be sure to put it in my dayrunner so I don't forget to post this month.
I have four more sets of cards pending approval. I have enjoyed this challenge. I have been working very hard to get ahead; for three years I have been saying I am going to participate in the craft fair at the school I work for. I may actually get my cards done plus some for the fair this year. Thanks for the push I needed.
Stace PS I will post the links as soon as they are approved.

Someone made the suggestion to have a separate thread to just have general discussion about ideas and such. I started one in the Christmas Challenge folder-- Forums at Splitcoaststampers

Good idea---thanks for the suggestion!
Lisa
That link does not work for me...is it just me?
Thanks!
