Well, my whole point in so many different posts at the beginning was so i could go back and edit and add info....guess what...no editing on this thread! WHAT????
So, first, thank you greatly to everyone who stepped up to present a challenge each month. They are awesome!!!
Remember these are only helpful suggestions for when you get stumped, no challenge is mandatory, you make what you want!!
I haven't made any Christmas cards yet this month. I think these monthly challenges will be a good motivator and inspiration to get me making those cards! Thanks!!
Thanks for posting all the challenges in one place, Vikki. To clarify with the February challenge, it's the red/dark green or navy blue/silver combos I'm hoping to see people move away from. Let's see some lime green! Some turquoise! Purple!
Oooh.. can anyone get a lot of ORANGE and/or YELLOW in a Christmas card?
Remember when SU had that old set with a strand of Christmas lights, and the bulbs were separate?? You could stamp that strand in black or green, then use bulbs in orange and blue and yellow....

I put my Christmas stamps in the box I store my Christmas cards. My basic forever stamps (flags) go in the bill-paying box and the Celebrate stamps are on my work table (yep, I can even find them! LOL) so they are ready for Birthday/ Anniversary cards as I get them done.

This really helped me out in 2013, so I'm in again for 2014 - 5 per month! Thanks Vikkijo for setting it up - and to all the wonderful hosts for the great challenges!!
Just about tripping over the finishing line on the last day of the month - I've made 2 more cards to achieve my grand total of 5! Whew! One down, ten more to go.......
I don't have a gallery but the card is on my blog - only one of them, but the other is just the same except for a slightly different snowflake
Hope all of you in the path of the Polar Vortex get out of it soon! We've been having abnormally warm and dry weather here in the AZ desert, well, in all the west coast, this winter. Wish we could send you some warmer weather!
Oh, my! It's the last day of January and I still haven't made a Christmas card yet. Guess I better put that at the top of my "To Do" list!!
Hello fellow starmpers.....I have my March cards done...it was to re-cycle, re-use or re-purpose, I re-cycled the fronts from someHandmade cards that were sent to me .....I just may do this with some more cards I have...and pass the creativity on.. The weather man hasn't mentioned the "Polar Vortex" lately, but it was -15 when I went to start my car this morning (wind chill is -30) and supposed to be -20 tomorrow morning. I'm really tired of the sub zero temps. Most winters we get about a week of this early in January, but it has hung on into February and that is just wrong. We were talking at work on Friday that we have been going through a cycle of several days of sever cold followed by a couple days where it warms up enough to snow and then back to sub zero.
It's another year of crazy weather. While many of you are having colder than normal winter we here in the SE AZ desert are having a warmer than normal winter. Temps in the Tucson area are suppose to be in the mid 70s for the high temp today.

I've got a friend just outside Chicago, going through the same cycle. :(

Not always, but typically what ever we have they will have about the next day as it moves east.
Warmer today! and of course, we got snow this morning. ;-) Only about an inch. Supposed to actually get intot he 30's Thursday and Friday. It will feel down right balmy compaired to what we have had.
Me too, Angie. I jokingly keep telling my family back east, to send us the extra snow. My little sister shoveled three times today and it's snowing again.

Just came across this challenge thread and have written down each month's challenge. I managed to send out or sell over 70 cards this past year, so I guess I better get busy! I will try for at least 5 cards a month and if I make more will count myself lucky!
Thanks to those who posted challenges, they will be fun and I have some catching up to do!
I'm a first-timer at this but I challenge myself to make 5 cards per month but as I've only done a couple so far this year.. I have to catch up ones so that it makes it right... so in April I will do 5 (as there is only a couple of days left), but May, June and July will be 10 and then after that at least 5 a month!
