I've never done this challenge...but I'm sitting here 8 days before Christmas making cards and I don't much like it. I'd rather be sewing Snow White and Merida dress-up dresses today.
So sign me up. I'm aiming for 4-5 each month.

Hi folks, newbie here. I thought I signed up for 4 cards a month but I don't see my name on any lists. Maybe I'm not looking in the right spot, or maybe there is something else I need to do? Please let me know because I really want to be a part of this challenge. I'm in the same boat as Diane. I was up till 1:00 am last night and will probably be up to 1:00 again tonight. At this point I'm starting to resent them, lol!
Welcome to the group and SCS. Your name will be added to the list as soon as Vikki Jo can get to it. I can't tell you how nice it is to have the cards made and ready to mail by December 1. However, I did procrastinate getting them addressed and in the mail. I just finished getting the last half of them ready to mail today.
Now, if I can only get myself this organized with the gift buying and mailing. I thought I was on top of the ones that had to be mailed and found one that didn't get in the box.
Lol at me - I thought I had done plenty of Christmas cards this year, however I just had to make another 6 tonight.

May I qualify my "rather be sewing..." statement. My Merida dress is done except for the hem. But it took me 3 HOURS to make the sleeves! NEVER AGAIN. No granddaughter can ever like Merida again!

LOL!! reminds me of when I was asked to make costumes for school play and they wanted 3 prairie dresses....those bonnets about killed me and by the 3rd one I was ready to say "naughty word, naughty word" lol
Well....I have been BUSY! Crazy busy!!! I made more then 60 cards this year and do you know how many I have left? 7! and quite honestly 5 of them I really don't want to send out. I don't like the Christmas tree ones I made. SOOOOOO....I need to up my challenge to 5 cards again instead of 3 . Let's take the tag part off...because I don't know if I can actually squeeze in the tags....and if I say I am going to do them...I might make myself crazy feeling like I have to do them because they are on my list!

Yah! Can't seem to stay away from the feeling of being overwhelmed!!! I made quite a few post it note holders to go with gifts this year....kind of made myself a little crazy the past 4 weeks!!!!

I can count myself very blessed then, not to have any grandaughters, only 5 grandsons!

Yes, Sue. I noticed that too when I saw an earlier post from you a few weeks ago. We will definitely have to get together for some stampin' fun one day soon.
Please sign me up again. I only did 6 a month this year and it wasn't enough so put me down for 10 a month for 2013. Thanks so much for hosting this challenge - it's a great way to get cards done ahead of time.

I have participated in this challenge in 2011 & 2012. So glad I joined as it has really cut down on the stress in Nov/Dec of each year by having all my cards made. I was going to cut back the number of monthly cards this year, but I ended up needing them all!
So, please put me down for 10 each month in 2013.

Welcome Ruth! I made 88 cards this year and I think I've delivered/sent 87. I still have the extremely personalized card that I need to make for my daughter, but I never do that until the last minute.
I didn't keep up well this year, fizzling out around July and not picking up again until Nov., but the previous year, ALL my cards were completed by Nov. and that is a goal I am setting for myself again for 2013! Sign me up for 6 cards per month : )

I really suffered for not keeping to the challenge for 2012, so I will sign up again this year and try to keep to it. 5 - 10 per month. I hope I'm better disciplined this year. I will have a strong word with myself!
Ha ha! Jeanette is coming over here for Christmas on 12/30, after I get home from church. (Can't get her here early enough to come to church with me.) So I'll probably make her card ... um, Saturday night ... by midnight...
I was not able to complete all of the monthly commitment for 2012 and consequently did not mail any of the cards that I had created (although I had just enough for hand delivery this year).
Since my company has relocated and my full time job is ending in a few weeks, I should have more time this year so I would like to sign up for 20 each month (again). I believe that it will be easier if I make 4-5 different designs each month (and only 4- of each design) versus 20 of each design- that was my downfall last year - the time to duplicate 20 of each :-)

All Ready to Go ......
Oh my goodness so many of you already signed up and posting, what a slacker I am!!! But I just couldn't think about next year before Christmas was done but now here I am ready to join the party for a 3rd year. This is such a brilliant way to get the cards made without the pressure - well just a little bit ;)
I took my eye off the ball in the summer this year but still had enough cards by November so will go for 6-10 for 2013. You never know I may just make a few extra some months
Big thank you to everyone involved in making this happen each year and all the talented ladies who share their creativity - your encouragement and inspiration keeps me motivated ....

I joined the CCC12 in Jan 12 to make 20 cards a month. Our mailing list was 200+ strong. Well, my hp computer died and my new computer is an apple. My mailing list was lost and I had to reconstruct from an old printout. Some people moved, died, and etc... so my list is just under 200 now.
Joining the challenge was the best thing ever! I didn't know what to do with myself after Thanksgiving because all my cards were made! I actually got a chance to see my family. In past years I would be in my craft room making cards as cards came in. I refused to buy any.

I'm in ... 5 cards a month. I made 10 a month in 2012 and was finished by August ... What a huge relief. And my resolution this year ... Post as soon as I'm done ; )
