Thanks for letting me know what to do for July but I can't see July, October or December posts in the Challenge forum. Have the not yet been presented or is there a glitch somewhere :(
Hi, ladies. I am so far behind with posts. I've been working a lot of extra hours and by the time I get home, I don't feel like doing anything and that includes making cards. I haven't made a single Christmas card since February. Now I'm on vacation for the next 2 weeks. No time for cardmaking though. I'm on my way to visit DD and her girls. Hope everyone has a great holiday weekend.

If no one has posted in them in a while they eventually fall off the "current" threads. I subscribe to all the months in January and then I can always find them in my list of threads that I am subscribed to. They may have moved to page 2 or 3 but they are still there.

I'm guessing after awhile with no posts, the thread does drop off "current" but still exist in some kind of magic place. lol How's that for tech skillz?

no, not page 2 or 3 here. Sorry, I didn't explain that well. When you click on "my subscriptions' on the left, they may get moved back to page 2 of your subscriptions, but they are still there. I have several things I subscribe to so I have three pages of threads listed there.

My neighbor called and asked me to come help her withe her computer. She got a new one, ugh Windows 8....
She wanted me to install Pinterest, Facebook and SCS on her new comp.
Ummm okay! I've explained this all to her before, so I just humor her now and go do it, I put a short cut on her desk top for the internet, then I put book marks on her Book marks Bar for each thing, log her in and select stay logged in for each thing too. She has a cork board above her desk where I write down all of the info.
I told her I was changing her passwords, to all the same things. That really blew her mind.
Well now how will it know what I want to look at?

Still using Virgin Mobil for interenet and it hates galleries, my Blog (I only update that when I take this to town and use Wifi)
Did you know that SCS is blocked by some WiFi
I like using it at the Clinic and Laundry mat, so peaceful sitting in the back of the paring lots! But Face Book, Shutter fly and SCS and not accessible using their WiFi

Here's more to her computer drama...she came over today to see about a card project and mentions...somehow I think Firefox doesn't work on my computer anymore. (so much for all my book marks)
I had to go through how to connect to the internet BEFORE a page will load.
Sharon, the two cards you posted are great, and the photography is good. There is no reason you couldn't post photos of your scrapbook pages there too, and little tidbits of life, photos and encouragement that occurs to you. Some people keep their blogs dedicated to cards only, but others use their blog to chronicle their lives. I know that when you post your cards and projects on SCS it seems like duplication to also post them on a blog. I haven't found time to start a blog yet.

Around here if you don't know how you have to pay for it. I'm not an expert, but I sure try to figure it all out on y own without going to town and pay for it.
Ok...so I am told I post here....I am supposed to figure out how many card to do each month...then post in that month the cards I did.....right?!? ..I did a red white and blue...not too sure I like it so I will play with it some more. May think about doing 2 or 3 cards a month in the HOT HAZY HUMID HEAT alert months. Then in September I unpack all the Christmas stuff and go to town...ohh...I am rambling...the humidity is rising
Yes the humidity does sap your strength, and your brain, that's my excuse for being so behind with my Christmas cards, and I'm sticking to it!!
Vikki jo I was having a sneaky look at your blog and see you have been on WOYWW, I started doing it for a while but with visitors etc I haven't had time for a while, next time you join in look out for Ali H and say Hi and tell her we are crafting buddies, she is a friend from England who visits us over here a few times a year.
( and yes, I am still way way behind in my Christmas cards... BUT, I started catching up with that and they are in the dirty gallery... so, I didn't add the CCC13 to them, and it got me thinking...
do you guys want those kinds of cards linked to in their months? )
so they could have notes on the side that said which ones went into the dirty gallery and which ones were just general population???
Angie, THANKS. I think the ones in the dirty gallery you'd have to be a fan club member to see them even if I keyword them with the CCC13...
the only way to test that is if you click on my gallery you would see a mug shot of my face at the top left corner now. ( its sticky ) if you see that you can see what's in the fan club galleries.
Hello Everyone, I have not been able to uphold my end of the bargain for 6 cards a month and 4 tags. My Mother in Law died 3 days after I posted my first card on Jan 1. We bought a house 800 miles away and planned on moving April 1, except I badly broke my wrist 2 weeks before our move...so we moved on the 5th of April. My hand is still numb and now I have to have surgery to release an impinged nerve!!!!! I'll be lucky to have 15 cards to send out this year......so, next year will be my year!
My goodness, what a dreadful year you're having. I am so sorry about your mother-in-law, and I do hope your surgery goes well. We'll look forward to seeing Christmas cards from you next year!

So sorry to hear about the rough year that you've had. Hope the surgery goes well and you will be ready to be creative soon.
