It's a current SU! one Tidings of Joy, I don't know how much it is in the US, I'd tell you how much it is from the Oz catalogue, but don't want to scare anyone!
Oops, completly forgot about the stencil and stylis, thing don't know why I dry emboss on parchment once a month with my parchment group.
cheers
Marg
PS Toothpaste ??
I love doing pergomano (sp) work. Just one more thing I don't seem to have time to do more often.

I made the same goal: 50 Christmas cards for 2012. I made 5 in January. Can I start this thread now and upload the ones that I already made?, or should I start in February?. If I'm doing this already for myself, I'll better do it with good company!!! ;).
Here is a link to my cards for January. I made 28 of these, and had them done mid January. Due to an unforseen stay at the hospital for over a week I am just now uploading.
I found this design here on SCS, and will try to give credit to the person who inspired me asap.
Sorry about the hospital stay. Hope everything's okay now. Congrats on getting your January cards in.

Well, after a slow start, finally got my January cards done, and did 6 instead of 5 because it was easier for some weird reason! Now have to figure out what to do for Feb before that month runs out!
Great card, Terri. Left love and gave you credit. Congrats on completing your January card!

Glad to have you! Uploading your January is fine. You just didn't qualify for the drawing for that month. Will PM you!

Okay girls. This is all caught up. Remember, I only check past threads once or twice a month. So if you want to make sure I see your card, PM me when you do so I can go check it out!

I need to make 40 cards for 2012 and I have1 of my designs done. ( I want to do a total of 4 designs) I will do 4 cards a month including the designs for the other 3. Thanks for letting me play!
Well, I am new here at SCS and struggling a bit to find my way around and learn the various processes. I hope I am putting the links to my January Christmas cards in the right place...
I decided to make mini-cards that my family and friends could hang on their Christmas trees. Here in our house, the cards we receive often end up in a pile on the mantle, so I thought this new, smaller format might make it easier for recipients to manage them. Wouldn't it be neat if everyone sent minis, and all of our trees had lovely little Christmas messages for us to admire throughout the Christmas season?
Hello ladies!!!. I'm new at this thread so excuse me if I'm doing something wrong. I started this challenge by myself and then discovered this thread, and it is so much fun doing it with company!!!. My goal is to make 50 Christmas cards for the end of the year, then I have to make 4 or 5 per month. So far I made this ones in January:
Carolina - Welcome to the challenge! I've done it for two years now and it's a great way to get all your cards made ahead of time. Like you, each of my cards is different - I post my cards as I get them done. Others do a batch of same or similar cards and post them all at once. In other words, our great thread moderators don't mind how we do it!

Thank you so much Susan for your response and thank you for your lovely comments!!!. I'll be posting my cards as I'm doing them. Doing this challenge will help me to enjoy the Holidays and don't worry to make them all at once in November ;).
It is snowing here in MN and I had already decided I was going to work on my Christmas cards today. Now it seems only appropriate! Got to go wash my kitchen floor and then I am off to my stamp room.
Carolina - All of your cards are wonderful! I left you some love! ;)
I am a bit behind in posting these cards for January... they were already made, sitting here.. I had totally forgot about them, posting them.. so many things were going on at the time. Things are smoother now and so I am trying to get caught up with a big long list of things.. the Christmas Card Challenge is on my list twice.. once for January and then February,,, which I haven't made the cards for February yet, but plan on it later today. I need to come back and see all the goodness that everybody has made..

Do I have to wait till the end of the month and post them all together for now on?.
Thank you.
Great cards, Carolina. I love the stitching. I've marked you down for January so you'll be eligible for the year end drawing :-)
Post them as you do them or all at once... whatever works for you.

Gloria
What a neat idea! Mini cards have so many possibilities for 'after' the holidays. Yes your link was in the right place :-)

I posted these as one big group on my blog:
Great collection of cards, Pam. And boy do I understand the behind thing! That's why I'm here right now. Thankfully my cards are done - just not posted for Feb. But I have 4 more days :-)

oh did I ever have a nice surprise waiting for me when I got home from work today!! Thanks VikiJo and Kelly! I love all the goodies you sent. It'll be fun playing with them. You guys are the best!!
Well, better late than never. Slow start to the year but glad that January - March is finished. I've made 12 of these (because I like the waterfall card layout so much).
