Well I am preparing things to get ready to start 2012 Challenge. Thankfully Kelly will Co Hostess with me so when I am away she can keep up with Sign ups and Questions.

I think tomorrow before I make anymore cards (the intentions is to start on the november batch, its duck hunting season here now) I will have to count the cards done and start addressing envelopes. Im guessing I should have for sure 60 by now since this is month 10 but, I started making cards with new stamps after Christmas before the challenges started in January so probably have a few extra.

YEAH!!!!! Even missing a few months I am way ahead of last year! Thank you both for doing this! Definately doing it again next year!
Rotfl! Oh Vikki! I know I'm laughing but it is with you and not at you. When I lived in FL I was terrified of Palmetto bugs (cockroaches the size of a VW). We were in bed one night and one got hit by the ceiling fan and started dive bombing the bed. Felt like we were under attack, so I can sympathize.
Thank you Angie! That's so gross about the fan! I would be so terrified!
I have never seen a Cockroach, except for when I would go buy lizard food.

One disadvantage to small town living. I know my doc personally. ran into her at the grocery store..she just shook her head at me. LOL

They are so gross Vikki. I was born and raised in Iowa. We never had bugs when I was growing up and was kinda raised that only dirty, trashy people have bugs. So to move to Florida and have every one there take Palmetto bugs for granted was really creepy.
Here are numbers 5 and 6 of my 6. For once, I've finished well ahead of time - and that's because summer is over and we're into cooler, wetter days so I don't want to be out in the garden! I'd had enough of wreath cards (having posted four of them for this month) so got inspired by the latest Sketch Challenge instead and did these two variations on it:

ROFL...I don't think you "have" palmetto bugs...I think they are like the local wildlife!

I got my October cards done. Need to wait until tomorrow to upload it. I like this one much better than the one I did for September. Now that I'm caught up, I can finish reorganizing my office/craft room. Can't wait to see all your cards for this month. I refuse to look at them until I finish mine.
Here's my card for October. I made 5 of these. I may have to make more. This is the first time I used this set that someone gave me and I really like it.
Merry Christmas ladies! I hate to say this.. there are only 68 days left till Christmas. Figure what.. 2 weeks for mailing. Maybe a week for writing inside, and addressing envelopes? Holy buckets!! That leaves what.... 48 days?
I spent today outside.. in the cold wind! Chasing dumb cows! Clint's grandparents had 7 head get out today.
Buggers waited till a school day, and after most of the snow birds left for Texas. So very short handed help around.
5 are still out loose. Not good.
I had such great intentions of being crafty today too. Darn it anyhow!

My October card! I didn't get a chance to take a group shot this time as my coworker purchased them. I'll have to make some more. The Joy card I plan to make another 9 of. Guess I'm not stopping at 100! Enjoy.

I have way more than I need too, but I used glitter on some, so I do not dare use any of the extra's in that box for OWH
Should learn to bag the glittered cards right away!
Two use the same image but the sentiments are from different stamp sets and the papers and colours are not the same
