well, usually I wait until I get all ten of my cards done before I post but I thought I might switch it up and post as I go along this month. I'll probably do a summary post once all ten are done.
Here are my first four for May (actually made in April).
I tried to use my sister computer last night, but she is having serious issues. I think she has TOO much stuff on there.
It's so slow, and she has a wireless mouse that has it's own mind. LOL
So I came into work 30 minutes early so I could catch up on here. But my boss decided to put me to work!
It's still the first week of May and I've completed my May cards! This has to be a record for me! :-) I owe my thanks and inspiration to Libby Waterman. I've cased one of her cards. (I think it's the one she did in April). Thanks Libby.
Here are May's cards and the last of the 3 pictures for the OSW challenge. I made over 50 basic Christmas tags using nothing but scraps and am counting them as 1 of my cards for this month. The 3 tags on the red and green papers were made by my 12 yr-old son. He does not stamp with Mom like he did when he was younger so I was really surprised that he wanted to make some. Was not too surprised that he stopped at just three!
Beautiful cards and I love the tags made from scraps. I really need to do that. I have never made tags. Yours are so pretty and what a great way to use up scraps. Thanks for the inspiration!!
Vikki Thanks so much for that recent PM... I have been thinking "oh what are you going to do now? and it was probably "slap more colored images on card stock really quick ;) " and so the list is a cool jump start!
here's where my brain went with it.. the 12 days of Christmas... 1 day per card to send to a fave Niece or Nephew (or God Child)
Yeah that means sending 12 cards to one person, but the instructions are for a smaller card (hee hee that really helped right)
How cute would it be as a 3" x 3" card?
Well I work 4 days again this week. So I leave tomorrow and will be back Friday night.
Everyone have a great week! Hoping for nice weather!!

I am debating on cutting pieces for the 12 days using the Cricut or the digi's I have.they are abit big, and if I size them down maybe too small to color. Oh the deilema!
I haven't made any yet, but I do have to bake cookies for the Art in the Garden Tour next month. Do you think anyone would notice if I slipped some Christmas cookies in? Since I'll be takiong tickets at the garden my dh will be showing, I could be working on Christmas cards. That might get people thinking about Christmas presents and maybe buy some artwork. That would be nice, but I won't hold my breath.
I haven't gotten to my May cards yet, but I did finish some Frosty the Snowman tags for a swap, so I am sharing those here.... I have a couple extra snowmen that are going to become cards, though!
Question.. what's on your Holiday Menu? Do you have a traditional Dish you are known for making every year? Something you wonder if your invited just for it? LOL
Have you ever thought of sharing that recipe? Maybe on a card??
Not sure if I should put this here or in the thread to subscribe for the challenge. I was browsing the gallery and noticed there are a few cards not showing up when you type in the keywords CCC11. I think the culprit is putting a space between CCC and 11. Not sure if this is a big deal or not but I thought I'd mention it just in case. I don't get to look at the posts with the direct links every day so I'd hate to missing out on some of the lovely works of art people are creating :-)
The last couple I saw were as follows but there are more:
There is no stamping on the outside, I will add a stamp Merrry Christmas on the inside though. My friend was having a "garage sale" and I got the whole pack of Kaiser Kraft paper and brads for a steal! I have tons more paper to do cards with! I brought another set of paper on my business trip so I am going to try and get June's done too in the next day or two.
Question... do you start addressing the envelopes now, as you go? do you write any notes now?
Or do you wait until November December to start that part?
