did you notice Raye finished all the way through November?
i have a OSW in front of me that I have been working on since oh.. a year ago (or more) I didn't like the paper once I cut it, and I have lost all interest in it.
I have finished my Feb cards. I ran out of red metallic brads so I used glitter glue instead of making a run to HL or Mike's. With both no more than 5 miles away from my house, this is really hard!
Cool, the stickles don't just fall off the brad when it dries?
I will have to try that!
No. I put the stickles on last after the card is made so there is not a lot of bending on the brads. I have cards that are 2 years old and it's still on the brads - no peeling or flaking!
Here are my February cards. I had the opportunity to borrow two snowflake punches from a friend a few months back and frantically punched these pink and gray snowflakes with no game plan. After having them sit in a container staring at me and telling me to make something, this is what I came up with. I'm trying to use up scraps and partially cut sheets of paper so that's why I ended up with three in white as the main colour and three with pink as the main colour. I'm pleased with the results of the cards but need to get my camera to cooperate better. Some of my shots are blurry and some aren't.
Looks like I get to be first to post in this thread. Here are my February cards for the challenge. This is a CASE of a beautiful Christmas card I received this year from muzbysmom. I added the snowflake embellishment and glittered it up. I just loved the design and it's my favorite stamp set. I think I'm going to do some in pink for March. I used the same embossing folder on the inside, with the sentiment stamped in the "blank" space.
Ohh that is beautiful I love the colours and its so peaceful

Oh Sandy these are utterly goregous! L O V E every single detail!
So Last night i went upstairs fully intending to do one more one of a kind card for January... knew i had some moose images colored with lights in the antlers and knew i had seen some paper in the stash with lights on it... dug out that piece of paper and found... there was blue on it, and it did not look good with anything I had colored previously so chopped up that piece of paper and squeezed 6 cards out of the sheet...
Here is my Feburay Challenge. I made 8 of these for this month. My goal is 5 a month so I think I did okay. I got this off a class I took at a local scrapbooking store. It used amuse stamps and was really simple. I just colored it with my copic markers and add some stickels to make it sparkle.
When we uploaded the February cards, we had half-way filled out all the fields and something popped us out of the site. When we went back in, we re-uploaded and filled in all the fields. Then, when checking her gallery there were duplicates - 2 of each but only one had information filled in on it. So, we deleted the ones with no information recorded and we could still see the remaining February cards. Then they disappeared. I haven't had a chance to get over to my mom's to talk her through uploading again and she's getting impatient LOL!

This week I am going to challenge you to use one of those magazines you have a page marked!
You know what I'm talking about I think we all have at least 1. We buy them, look through and mark pages we want to try to re-make.
Take one out, it doesn't even have to be Christmas time magazine. You can pick your fave and make it into a Christmas card.
Even better if you can use up some of your stash to get them done!
My resolution 2008 was NO NEW MAGAZINE'S well I did it for a year and realized I can live without them, so I have nothing current here! LOL
This challenge is completely OPTIONAL, just an idea for you
How about using our favorites here on SCS as inspiration instead of magazines? I'm kinda cheap... I don't buy magazines so I can save my $$ for stamping supplies!
