Yippee, here are my January CCC10 cards! Most of what I am making is for Operation Write Home so that I am not so far behind in October. Sure hope the attachment works!
I kept mine in an UGG box that I wrapped in Christmas gift wrap and put on the top shelf of the closet...out of the way but in sight.
Love this idea. I'm going to wrap my box as soon as I get home. Otherwise I KNOW I'm going to make all these cards and then I won't know where I put half of them. LOL Got myself some boots for Christmas - the perfect box.

I die cut with spellbinder eyelet pendant in the core'dinations paper. It's black on the outside of the paper and blue on the inside. When I sanded the die cut the blue came through. I added 3 grungeboard snowflakes which I painted blue, light yellow and metallic copper. Then I added stickles to them and glitter glue in green, red and gold.
I ran the 2 rectangles through a cuttlebug embossing folder (snowflakes). The paper is black on the outside and yellow on the inside. I sanded them as well to get the yellow to show. I matted them with yellow cardstock.
On the main background paper I took several acrylic snowflake stamps and heat embossed them with clear embossing powder.
I used my Cricut Ex to cut all out all the papers. I hate measuring, it takes forever.
Thanks
Heather

I will upload them now too, but I'll wait to post the link until Pammers gets the Feb Thread started.

Wow! Love your cards!!! I really need to get that die cut...it is really versatile! I love the patchwork tutorial on this as well. That is a technique I am going to have to try.

I've completed mine for January, thanks to the 12 Sketches of Christmas over at The Greeting Farm! ... and now on to February!
Every one of these is adorable.

Yikes, I just came back to the thread and saw questions for me!! I printed the music off a free website - I went to Google and typed in noelnoelnoel and there were the songs! I just printed onto some vanilla cardstock - had to reduce the image to 70%. I totally forgot to upload to my gallery! I am going to do a bunch of these - I make so many for a group that I am with and need simple and fast.
This is my first experience with posting to SCS and getting involved in challenges. It's going to be fun. My first card I did for the LSC252 challenge to use gift wrap, ribbon from a gift, and a commercial greeting card to make a card. Here it is:
hi all....i played along last year until about june....i had about 60 cards....this year think i will only do about 3 a month....i think that will be enough for me...what are the rules? any?
i cant wait to see all the creations that everyone comes up with.

Hi, welcome aboard! Please visit the main thread to review the rules; they are minimal. I've signed you up.

Yeah - 10 done! Pammers ... this is such a great challenge. I'm so excited to be able to participate and get my cards done ahead of time. I made this card originally for a CAS challenge, but liked it enough that I figured I would make more for the CCC10 challenge.
My cards are here: Old Fashioned Santa
I don't need 10 cards each month so I will be making 6-8 cards each month. I did 8 of these cards for Jan. CCC10 by jknorp at Splitcoaststampers
I hope you like them

Lorrinda - when you reply to the topic here in the forum use the go advanced feature and then you will see icons above your message box. One of them looks like a paper clip. It allows you to add attachments to these reply posts. Attach your jpg using the prompts from the upload attachment box that shows up. when you are done and submit your reply the photo shows up as you've been seeing them.
hth.

wow! everyone is on a roll!!! the cards are beautiful and just think...you are well on your way to being prepared for Christmas 2010...and we all know that the year just flies!
I'm a high school math teacher and students were complaining about being back in school after the break. I put it into perspective for them...we only have 5 paychecks left of the school year and by paycheck 4, they need to be ready for state testing! UGH!

Before I add my January cards, would somebody please tell me how to change the URL to the title of the card? I notice some of you list your cards that way (likewise when people post cards in the Favorites forums). Is it the preferable way to refer to a card in a post? I only know how to copy and paste the URL into my posts. Many thanks from a technically challenged SCS!
You have to click the "go advanced" button for the reply. You need to have your card up in another window so it will be easy to link. Type your message out:
Here is my card for the January challenge.
High-light the word/words you want to appear as the link. Click the icon at the top of the reply that looks like a blue ball with the little oval thing underneath (right under the white smiley face). A box will pop up with a place for you to type in your URL for the card. Go to the window with your card in it and copy the URL for you card. Paste it in the pop-up box. Be sure that you only put the http:// part in one time. The box will have that part already in it. Paste the link in the box and close it. I usually bold and color the words in my message before I paste the link. I hope this is clearer than mud. It will make sense when you actually do it. :-D

Many thanks! I'll give it a try when I post some CCC10 cards on Monday.
I used my MDS software to make these easy cards......I made 20 of them, but didn't get a picture of all of them together.......do you need proof I made my quota??
