I am so excited to be getting ahead of the game and getting some cards done well before I have to mail them out!! And I'm using a lot of scraps - another goal for this year!!!
I've been gallery gazing, I am so sorry I bought all my paper and card stock back in Dec to do all of my cards! :(
The stamps sets I've seen... oh man!
To top off kicking myself in the butt, I cut the dp up into OSW already too!
I got mine uploaded for February. This has been a tough month - so I went with something pretty simple! My DH fell and broke and dislocated his ankle - so I've been trying to take care of him as well as work from home! Oh well, next month I plan to get something more 'spiffy'!!
Well, I've got 3 of my 10 done for February. The Olympics are a major distraction and I'm not doing much else besides watching them! I'll have to get moving to get the rest done. These three all have a holly theme:
I finished my Februay set of 10 cards. I just duplicated January's card because I really liked it and had several sheets of the dp left. Here is the link in case you missed it last month.
Well, fellow CCC10 challengers, my February cards are complete, but I have been trying for a week to upload them, but SCS will not allow it. I have been in touch with Beate, but she won't even return my e-mails now. I've tried everything and nothing works. Nothing has changed on my end since I uploaded my January cards. Same hardware, same software, same everything I have been uploading with for years. It keeps saying contact system adm., but not getting a response from SCS or any help. So I hope you just trust that I do have my cards completed. If they ever get the glitch figured out, I will complete the upload.
wow, that is a bummer. Maybe try to attach a thumbnail...I just like to see everyones work for inspiration. Also, you might have trouble reaching anyone...there are changes in the mix...I didn't read all of it but the details are on the home page.

Have you checked your junk mail to see if Beate's responses are going there? My bff had a similar problem a while ago and Beate's responses were going into her junk mail. Hope this helps!

A friend of mine had the same problem awhile back, and when they investigated it, it had to do with the title of the card. If your card has the same title of any other card in the gallery, it will not upload. They suggested that she change the names to something that wouldn't be in the gallery...like your first initial, last name, and then a number. Then assign your next card a different number, etc. It worked for her. You might try that. Good luck!

Yippee! Jenn uploaded my cards for me so here are the links. Thanks to Jenn for her patience in dealing with me, and for the uploads. Hope I can figure out how to shrink my upload, so I will be able to do it myself from now on. Wish I could figure out why it took them before?
Anywho......here they are
When you see the patchwork sheet, this is what I did. I punched squares from cards I received this year (store bought cards only!) and made a collage on an 8 1/2 x 11 piece of card stock. I then used a nestability to cut out an oval scallop to make the next card. I will use the rest of the sheet to make other embellishment pieces for more cards.
Wow! I have been looking at everyone's cards! They are so amazingly creative!
For February, I knew I'd be busy, visiting family in Maryland, and Fort Myers,
Florida--3 1/2 hours south of Orlando! I planned on simple thank you notes for this month.
I made 10 of the thank you notes-- some cards with a green backgound and some with a red background...complete with bows! (I just learned how to make bows the other night...with my bow easy and Gina's tutorial! My first bows in over 40 years! I am so excited about that!)
I think I may try to make matching tags tommorow...but that is a "try" not a promise. I will need to make tags each month now, or I will end up needing to buy store bought again.
Can you believe it is almost MARCH?!! Where has the year gone already?
Here are my ten cards for the month of February:
Waiting for Santa (This is my personal favorite if I do say so myself) Warm & Cozy Snowman (this is a close second - I love this layout and plan on using it again a lot in the future) Santa's Doggie Welcome
I made seven of these or at least of that theme.
And lastly, here is the group photo showing that I made a total of 10 holiday cards for the month.
Everyone's cards are so beautiful! I finally got my February cards done, just in the nick of time! Here is the group photo. (I'm going to try to take a better photo of the single card.) Thanks to FMICK for your inspiration for this card.
I decided that since I live in Vancouver, Canada, I had to participate in the Olympic Color Challenge (CC259) so did these four cards with that challenge in mind as well as the Christmas Card Challenge. The Olympic Color Challenge was to use the colours in the Olympics 2010 symbol along with neutrals and gold, silver, or bronze metallics. Here they are:
Here are my February cards. I was a bit worried that I wouldn't get them done in time since my DH and I have been redoing my stamp room. We ran into a few problems that had to be fixed before he could finish it, but here they are and my room is done.

Lucky you, getting your stamp room redone!! Is it wonderful? I'm in the process of reorganizing mine - what a job!
I am glad that I still had one in hand that I never linked to last month to make up my five. Wrapping up the Scraps - made on Christmas Day Double the Fun
And I made two of these last night: Simple Christmas.

Yes Susan, it is wonderful but you are right. It was alot of work. When we pulled up the carpet we found that when the house was built the floor in that room was 3/4 of an inch off from one side to the other and just covered by the padding of the carpet rather than fixing it. My husband had to pull all the subfloor up and replace it first, and of course it was over my laundry room with the wiring and furnace. It was not fun but is finished and wonderful now.
Here is my card for February. Nothing like leaving it to the last minute! It's been a busy ..short month! This is how my mailbox looked earlier in the month when we had a record 12.5 inches of snow in one day!
Here are my February Christams cards. I made some of these last year, too. Last year I only made 5 per month, but this year I am going to make 10 per month.
