In an effort to warm up the creative part of my brain, I've cased my July and August cards. Here is August which is based on a great card from Christyne Richardson… August CCC10 by inkypinky8 at Splitcoaststampers
Next month it's something original!!!
Gorgeous cards everyone - I'm impressed at how far ahead you are, I best get a move on! I'm waiting for some new stamps to pop through the letter box so will hopefully do loads then (I normally do with a new stamp set!) Heather
I wanted to do a card for LateBlossom's One Layer Wednesday Challenge so thought it might as well be a Christmas card. So here's number one for August:
Here's my second one for August. Couldn't resist doing something for the CAS78 challenge to use polka dots, even though I'm madly packing to go on vacation.
I didn't have enough of each of these patterned cards to make 10 of any design, so instead I went with two different designs, 5 of each. However, I saved the group photo in the wrong format so can only post the single card. Actually, you can see the details better anyhow! REINDEER and MISTLETOE
Woo Hoo - 80 cards done for Christmas 2010!!!

My August Christmas Cards are done. I made three and couldn't decide which one I liked most so I decided to make five of each. I was inspired by this past Sunday's Featured Stamper, CAKath. Awesome gallery.
Here's my August cards. Early for a change! I made 6 instead of my usual 5 since when cutting bases, you might as well go for an even number! I cased these from Dawn at http://dostamping.typepad.com/dostam...awn/punch-art/ She has so many great cards using punches! Love it!
Most of my cards this month were made for very special people who are on splitcoast so I can't post them and spoil the surprise. You will just have to trust me that I made them...
well....I got in the mood to do my Christmas cards. We ended up with a cool front this week....went from 107* to the 90's! The perfect time to do snowflakes....right?
Here is my card....I did 10 of them.

I got really busy with some design team responsibilities and put my Christmas cards off until the end of the month. I am really glad that I have them finished though. I went with a CAS design and let my designer paper do my work for me.

Those are gorgeous, especially embossed in gold like that!
And here are numbers six, seven and eight of my ten August cards. I'm afraid the last two won't be done until early September (along with ten for September - it's so much easier just to do ten each month!). Love this challenge - I've never had Christmas cards made so far ahead before!!! Thank you, Pammers.

Beautiful ornaments. love the simplicity and elegance of these.
I really enjoyed coloring this image from "SU! Home for Christmas!"
I used my water color pencils and some Stickles-diamond to add some glimmer for the snow through out the image. The image is layered on top of HOTP paper.
