Since I was stamping today and got my April cards done I decided to get my May cards done. I just received this stamp Riley Snowman. I really like him. I used watercolor Crayons and waterbrush. I also only had one sheet of 12 x 12 background paper and wanted to get 12 cards out of the sheet. Like I posted in my April cards I have been trying to use what I have. I used a couple of different ribbons to get my cards done but they are cute if I do say so myself. Kathy
So pleased I joined this challenge .... I need the focus to keep me motivated especially as the summer is finally on its way!! Thank you to everyone who makes it happen :-)
HERE are three of the cards I made. Detail of the glitter and sparkle can be seen HERE.
After this my trigger thumb was really hurting so I knew I needed something quick and relatively easy - Martha Stewart's holiday punches fit the bill! HERE are three samples of the 7 cards I made. They are not all the same because I was trying to use up as many of my scraps as I could.
HERE is the group photo to prove to you all that I did complete ten cards total.
Thanks Mary for hosting this challenge, I am having a lot of fun with it, and thanks to all who take the time to look at and comment on my cards.

because he was so cute! I added wiggly eyes and glitter to his hat and plan to make some Christmas package labels with him too later on.
5 cards per month? Check! Here they are for May - a quintet doing a variation on the same stamp and using all items from my stash - from CS to patterned paper to buttons and ribbons.

Oh well, I missed doing April....with the birth of a new grandson time just slipped away, but I have done Mays and just in time too I might add. On vacation in June and July so I had better get those done in advance.....
Oh my, what a month, between family birthdays, fellowship birthdays, and graduations, I had no time to delve into Christmas cards. So I'm taking a 'short cut' this month and assembled already stamped materials I had leftover from a group meeting where I taught Michele Zindorf's braying technique, last November. The leftovers have been assembled for May's CCC-09. I've edited my original posting of the card rather than posting it a 2nd time, here 'tis.

Down to the wire, but DONE!! I have five of these for the May challenge. I think I am off to get a new camera tomorrow. I have a big black spot that is in the lens and I had to place my watermark in a very unusual place to hide it!! My Card

I goofed. I forgot that the last day of the month is a Sunday. I'm not a Fan Club member so I can't upload today. I finished all 10 yesterday at 11:30 (pacific time) so it was past the deadline. I'll get them all in my gallery tomorrow after work. Do I still get credit?
Location: Hoping to be hiding out in my crafting room!!!

Last night my DH said to me . . . "Did you do your May Christmas Cards for the SCS Challenge?" I was like . . . OH NO! I didn't. So I went downstairs and got them done! Phew! I even started on the June ones while I was down there! I only make 6 a month so it wasn't too awful. I'll upload them to my gallery this morning. Thanks for the challenge! I know I'll feel SO great in December!
Wow! I thought my husband was supportive. (He walks by and suggests embellies - He's more genuinely artistic than me and has a better "eye" for these things.) My hubby would never think to remind me to work on them though. What a sweetie!

Nice job Peggy! I have never seen this set before!

My husband would remind me, but with an alterior motive - when I am stamping he likes to play computer games! LOL He is always urging me "Don't you want to go make some cards? Don't you want to go make some cards?" (No Honey, I want to cuddle with you.... LOL).
A BIG congratulations going out to Bonnie (aka Indianabon) for being our May incentive prize winner!!!! EVERYONE is doing a terrific job on their cards! I apologize, though, for being a little behind...
Hey thanks Mary and everyone! I wasn't even thinking about incentives - just having a blast watching my Christmas card stack getting taller and taller LOL!
You all have such great cards, it's fun to look in the gallery as all the cards are uploaded.
Finished on time, just didn't post them in here for some reason. Oh well, at least they're done. I'm making great headway with my cards for this year!!
Here are my cards for May. I think this snowman is so cute. I decided to do him ion Navy.

Finally! I got these done about a month ago but am only uploading now. I made 10 of these cards using Scandinavian Season, various rub-on sentiments, and different colored brads. Snowflakes and Stripes.
Thank you, Mary, for encouraging all of us and for helping us GET IT DONE!
