Reason: Wrong month
OK, here is the link to my card for August: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I now have 80 completed cards. I'll probably do 10 more Christmas cards each for the next 2 months & then switch to thank you notes for Christmas.
Here is my batch of August cards. Easy to put together once all of the embossing is done. First time I have used my Lovely As A Tree set that I ordered during the last Sellabration, how sad. (Still haven't even cut out 2 of the others)
This is a case pretty much from the 1997 SU IB&C. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Thanks for looking!

Whew! Talk about barely making it. Less than an hour in the month, but I finished!!!!! no scanner, so will take pics when i get a chance, but I used On Angel's Wings this month.
Oh! No, I haven't forgotten, I know I keep saying it, but I'm finally mailing the goody package the next time I go to the Post Office! I got Jami's addy out of my Pms today so i can prepare the package.
This is still pending. I just checked the list and only have 3 sets showing completed. So I still need to have 3 more sets listed which I've put on the threads and pm'd about but they are still not showing up. Don't know what the problem is.

Did you click on the tab on the bottom that says 3rd quarter? Mine doesn't show yet either but they are very busy. They will get to it soon.
Hope you have a great weekend

Shelley moved recently (to a different state) and I think she may be having some trouble updating the spreadsheet. I'll check with her. It will definitely be done.
I'm still looking for prizes for the drawings. PM me if you need my addy! Thanks ladies!
I just wanted to let you know that I have updated *SOME* of the spreadsheet....
This is taking a bit of time to get updated and I appreaciate your patients.....It will get done before we do any kind of drawings/prizes!
Thanks so much and make sure you keep posting when you have completed the challenge and please make sure you INDICATE which month you are posting for!!

Image is still pending approval, but I finished my August Christmas Challenge cards last night!! Yippee...I'm only 1 month behind now, and I'm waiting to get my new Christmas set (hopefully coming soon) before I post Septembers!
I posted this in the other thread about a week ago: "Can I still participate in this? I need about 35 cards. So I want to get 12 each month made. Is that okay? (Don't want to do any in December. Too busy)"
Today I went back to update, posted, then scrolled up and saw the link to come post our info here. So if I can still 'play', here is my update I posted today:
"Well, not sure if you're letting me participate, since no one responded, but I made my 12 cards on Friday, September 30. Just finished up my October cards, 12 of those. I'm on a roll!
At the rate I'm going, I'll probably have November's done soon as well! lol

Kris - I dont see why not......I will email Jami and get you added to the list on the other thread and I will add you to the spreadsheet.
If you would like to donate to the gift basket please pm Jami or I and we will give you the address to do so!
Thanks!!

I just wanted to let you know that I will be updating the spreadsheet when I have a couple hours this week.
Hope everyone is still working hard on your cards!

I finished my Sept AND Oct cards this weekend but haven't had a chance to upload them (I did, really I did!) on no-load Sunday. One uses Handsome Hunter and the Copper mettalic with shapes & shadows and the other uses Along the Same Lines with Artichoke & Celery---can't wait to show them off (I think they're really cute!! :p ) later this week. Only one more month to go---won't have time in Dec (does that count towards our totals?) but 110 will be plenty for my mom & us to send out.
thanks again for starting this thread---it's been a life saver!! Hopefully we can do it again next year!
WOO HOO! I just finished up my Christmas cards for a non-traditional Christmas card swap. I made enough to cover my November goal. I"m done! I'm so excited. What a motivating thing!

I have a couple more done actually, but haven't posted them as yet. I'm going to post all the rest of mine this weekend along with all the ones I've already done because I can't find the old post that had the ones I did in it. That way they'll all be together.

In addition to those 20 cards, I also made 100 of the following for the VP at work to hand out (yes, I cased my own card idea from June's Christmas Challenge, but it was the perfect idea for work)
OK, I only have 10 more Christmas cards to make for myself, 48 for my in-laws, ~30 for my paternal grandparents, and ~35 for my maternal grandfather. I'd better get crackin' ;)
I missed one this past summer, it was June I think. I had planned on doing a batch using the House Mouse but it was way too much coloring.
This one I made I really loved and it was very easy. Thanks for looking!
I am behind in updating for this challenge. I actually haven't stamped much, since July - I have been in a slump. So everything I have stamped - has been for my stamp clubs. Luckily, I cut extra this past month and had enough to use for the challenge.
I have quite a bit of catching up to do. I am nowhere near my goal and I was hoping to not have to stamp them in December. Guess I better get crackin'!! ;)

We are coming to the end of this challenge! Deadline to catch up and post finished cards is Sunday November 27th. The goal here was to not have to stamp Christmas cards in December.
Also we are still looking for prize donations for the drawings. If you have not yet contributed a prize you must get it in my mailbox by Wednesday November 23rd!!! I am on the RAK list (in the "S"s ) or you can PM me for my address. Prize items can be hand stamped or embellishments or whatever. They do not need to be holiday-themed or SU products. Just keep them small and lightweight with a value of $1 to $3. I am putting together 2 prize "baskets". 2 winners will be drawn from everyone who participated in the challenge (whether or not you sent in prizes). Shelley will draw names and post them Saturday December 3rd (this gives her time to get the spreadsheet updated first).
Is anyone interested in taking over and running this challenge in 2006? There needs to be a team of 2 or 3 people who can work together via e-mail and PM. I can give you all the info you will need to get started on January 1. Please let me know if you'd be willing to be a Challenge Coordinator. It is a one-year committment and Shelley and I are done after the drawing. Thanks!!
We're in the HOME STRETCH Ladies!!!!! Let's get those cards done!
I've had these cards done a while, just procrastinated posting...I originally said I'd do through October - to have enough to send out personally and sell at craft fairs, BUT none scheduled...so changed to through JULY and I'm ALL DONE!
this was awesome! Now I can work on Christmas GIFTS (oh and address the cards)
Hi ladies!!! This challenge sure has been a blessing this year--it's Thanksgiving and all my cards are done (okay, so I have to finish up November's a bit)---life will have less stress in it! I've enjoyed the challenge so much that I think it would be fun to be more involved. My friend Linda and I are willing (and excited) to take over for 2006. It'll be hard to do better than Jami & Shelley, but we'll do our best!!
