Hello All. I am new here and this will be my first group to join. I thought maybe this would be good for me to start with before I try to swap with people, so that I can learn to upload pics and post. I will be making 3 cards a month for 2017, as I only need about 36 cards to mail out in December 2017. Here goes!
I'm not even sure how I found this group, but I'm definitely in need of a little push (make that HUGE push) to get my cards done. Last year's cards, or they could be from the year before, yeah, they're definitely from the year before, are sitting half-way done in a drawer in my craft/bedroom. I moved them with me to our new apartment, I just haven't worked on them. So put me down for 4 a month and if I actually meet that goal a few times, I'll try increasing it in a few months.
Thanks for the inspiration and whatever spirit led me to this group,

Anne. I love your 2017 lineup and am going to keep up the pace this year. I did well in 2016 getting Christmas cards done, only because since September I made myself make a Christmas card for at least one of the many card challenges I would do each week. By doing that again this year AND keeping up with these I should be okay. Thanks for making this a fun thing!!

Liz,
Fantastic way to meet your monthly goals by doing at least one card per challenge during the week!!
So glad you are signing up for 2017!!
I look forward to seeing your wonderful creations!!
I think I'd like to try this Christmas Card Challenge. It will be new for me to enter challenges on a regular basis, but I really need to get a handle on my Christmas card list earlier than my norm! So, I don't think I will bite off more than I can chew...as I hate to say I'll do something and then fail. If you choose a low number for your goal, can you post more than your goal in a single month?

Carlene the goal should be something that is manageable for you... What I do is try and make more cards when I am inspired... Maybe make two or three of the same design... In the heat of the summer I am not inspired...I perspire!! Lol. Yuck.. also life has a way of getting in my way but i have put a sticker on the 25 of each month in an effort to remind me... I hope some of this helps!

Thanks, Lynn, you inspired me 'cause I saw it in your siggie! Now I just need to remember to update the count, when I get around to making 2017's cards! (I'm not done with 2016 yet....!!)

That's ok we will be here! Quite a few of the people check their count at the end of the month and update their signature then... some of us post pictures of our cards in our gallery then just have to look there to see how many we have made...do what ever works for you!
What a fun group! So...giving it thought...I'm upping my goal to 2 per month or 24 in a year...going to count December for myself too...and post to November when finished! Also, liked the idea of adding it to my signature and a little pressure for me to get it done!!!

Count me in!!I like your keyword idea (post #23)
theme suggestion: using papers related to birthstone color for each month.
Thank you!

Count me in as well. I was going to suggest transportation but someone beat me to it (another great mind) so I'll throw in colors, I.e maybe a different color scheme for a month instead of the usual red and white. Or numbers, must be a certain number of items represented on the card... ideas are endless!
And I'm Kandie aka Kemernow. I'm supposed to be recuperating from a bad headache so I'm reading this on low light (but still getting excited to craft). I'll put myself down for 4 cards a month.

Hi Everyone! I just found this thread even though I'm no stranger to SCS's, and I'd like to be included for 2017, so sign me up! Thanks, Anne, for starting this thread. I will commit to 3 cards each month, and if I have time for more I will go for it. Stampin'nana-Roberta.
