Thanks, Anne, for getting all of the themes organized in one place! I have almost used up all of the cards I made for this year's series, and I'm up to the letter "S" in the address book. I have a super idea for the Santa where we live theme for May...it will be a hoot and definitely reflecting Central Pa's attractions. I hope to be back to detail work by January 2016 - cataract removal tomorrow!!! Praying for healing as it went with the last one...

Waving to a fellow central PA stamper! I made a few more cards but they are for this year. I do not have any leftovers this year! I may have to raise my numbers!
I made cards all this year, mostly to donate to an organization that sends them to shut-ins, so I might as well join up. I'm going to commit to 3 a month just to see how it goes.

I didn't do it for 2015 and should have! I will commit to 2016. I think I will say four a month. I probably will make 4 of same card each month. We will see! Thank you Ann!
I agree wholeheartedly! I'm going to try this challenge this year too!
I took a peek at a couple of the upcoming challenges and they look like a lot of very creative ideas! From one Ann to another...thanks! Should be fun. I'm going to set a goal of 5 cards for January.

Hello, everyone, from a cool Central PA home office space. I just returned from the surgeon and my vision is now 20/25 with some swelling in the left surgery eye! My Dollar Tree readers are working well for me to type at this PC and I could read the restaurant menu this morning! Thanks to each of you who kept me in your thoughts and prayers. Truly. I was just a tad disappointed that it wasn't 20/20 since the first cataract surgery was with excellent results immediately - my surgeon was quick to remind me it was just 24 hours since the surgery!! Oh well...now for the 4x daily drops, then onto 2x daily, then cleared for all issues. I cannot wait to be close crafting again! Diane

So glad it is done, Diane. You'll soon be back to crafting as much as you like!

Diane, so glad everything worked out!! So happy for you!!
Well your not going to believe this ladies, but after years of playing this challenge I am now going to withdraw for next year. You see, every year I make "Long" Christmas Cards (4 x so I can fit a Christmas Letter and photo card inside. Well, this year after I made 60 Christmas Cards all year long, I ordered my photo card in the wrong size: 5 x 7. So now they won't fit inside my Christmas Cards! Obviously I spent a lot of money on them, so I have to use them. I will save the Christmas Cards I made this year for next year. Now I'm wondering do I just send the photo cards out as my Christmas Cards or should I rush like a mad woman to make 60 new Christmas Cards? Ugh! So frustrating!
I will make three per month to start, I'll try to join the challenges but I have quite a few new Christmas stamps and dies so I will need to use those!

For my two cents - I wouldn't create more stress for myself at this point in the month. I'd go with the photo cards for this year! Unless you want to check a dollar store and see if your photo card would fit their boxed versions... Diane

There's no way you should stress to make new cards! Why not include a note in your Christmas letter telling them what you just told us? I'm sure they would understand. I know I would.
I'd love to sign up again for 2016. 10 cards per month.
I was terrible for 2015 - I took a break for a while and then I forgot to tag my Christmas cards as I've been uploading them. I might have to go back and retag the photos.

This is so awful! If it were me and I had to deal with my family of individuals who think that I am totally nuts in the first place for making handmade cards, I would stress out and make new cards!!
I actually get grief from some of my closest family (SIL) about being able to make handmade cards, baking from scratch, being organized, etc.
Could you design a handmade card and insert the photo? Something not to complicated, maybe embossed edges of different types? Something to call it your own? Little tree or angel in the corner with a signature?
Forgot to say though, this also depends on how much is on your plate right now!! If you are busy and do not have the time, don't stress out and just mail them out no explanation needed! Photo cards are always well received!

Sheena,
Glad you are joining in this year, and hopefully all of us together can keep the motivation going to stay on track this coming year!!
Just want to tell you what I am learning as I am addressing my hand made Christmas cards and putting them in the mail this year.
1. Note to self: In 2016, make them so they can be mailed for simple rate! I just got back from post office and had to pay extra postage on most of them, because they said they wouldn't go thru the roller without bending.
2. When you make them all different, it is difficult to decide who gets which one! LOL
Do any of you have that problem? I used to make them all the same! How boring.

I make mine all different and then I have to decide who gets what - in some cases, a certain card seems perfect for a certain person, in other cases I just pick at random. For a few people, I make very specific cards.

Hey Sharon,
I mailed 111 cards out this year and only 8 had to get an additional 22 cents postage!
I did great at not going wild with too many layers this year!
I think I have said it before, I like to make several of some of my cards! The ones that I really like and enjoyed making.
Therefore, when I am mailing my cards out, I group the envelopes already addressed using mail merge in Word by families. So that way no two members of the same family get the same card. It is one of my little crazy things that I have to do, even if the family members do not live close to each other. They talk to one another! LOL!
I haven't got them all made yet!! But my list is for 50, and I have about 40 made. Hoping to make some for VSN this week-end! I am mailing out about a dozen a day. And yes, some of mine are special for special people.
My annual reminder...did I remember last year??? oh well...have you recently scanned your computer for viruses...have you done a back up of your computer...have you backed up the photos you have on your phone...and last but not least...book an annual physical for next year!

I hope I can keep up this year. I just did a count for 2015 and I was only short 10 cards so I guess I will be getting up early Saturday and doing 10 cards and envelopes for mailing so DH can take them to the PO. In addition to also trying to do VSN. LOL! I hope I can incorporate a VSN challenge or two with Christmas. Giggles!!!!
