I wanna sign up. I tried last year but it just didn't happen and I had not a one card to send out this year. Hoping this year will be better. I have to finish unpacking my stamping stuff and then I'll be ready to go.
I really dropped the ball last year - only finished Jan. and Feb. I am vowing to do better this year. I hate the last minute rush to get my cards made and addressed.
I have to say I'm glad to hear this is for all holiday cards, I don't know if I could do Christmas all year, or need that many cards! But to do Valentines and Easter, etc. will be of great help to keep me on track! I so need to do this!
Will hopefully post my January cards this weekend! thanks!!
Okay, I didn't realize this was for all holiday cards - I thought the idea here was to do Christmas cards throughout the year so that we would not be overly stressed during that time of the year. I like the idea of doing all purpose cards - birthday - how many of those do we send out a year? Easter, for those that send those cards - Mother's Day - I know, these should be easy to do - I have only my mom - but what about our sisters, Aunts, friends that are also Mothers? Anyway - lot's of different occasions to send cards out for. Perhaps there should be a different challenge for all purpose occasion cards.

I think that I need this challenge this year... Maybe it will help me to not have to scrabble last minute when my DH decides he needs 50 extra cards for co-workers like he did this year. Plus the fact that I was already stressing about the tardiness of my own put-off habit. So count me in...
And Happy Stampin' New Year to Everybody!!!!
I would love to join this group. I've tried for years to get cards made each month and have failed each time. How do I do this ? I'm going on 10 years in a SU group but since retiring from Federal Service I've found SCS and I'm addicted. I'm still a novice on how all the sections of this website work and how to get involved in all of the challenges.
Thanks for any help you can give....Happy New Year !

Ok I have made my January card. But for the life of me I can't find the address bar on this computer to post it here so you can have a link. So if you would like to see it it is in my gallery-- Ougot2. Ok ok I know I have to take a computer course.
Hey, I found it. A round about way but I found it. Here is my January card.
What an elegant card. Simple, smart.....TFS
I'm excited about this. My first ever challenge OR participation in SCS.
I head for my computer by 5AM each morning to check out the new loads and then drool and dream for a while. I have no idea how to upload but with all the wonderful folks and the great threads out there I'm sure I'll figure it out...
Thanks Tina
I'm in... GREAT INCENTIVE!! I need to make cards, I didn't send any out this year:( - I feel so bad!!! So if I make 10 a month, I'll have 110 and that should be enough...
Thanks again

I have really cut my Christmas card list back so don't need many and will make those probably in July. Right now I am doing Birthdays as DH and I both come from large families. If I have the cards made ahead and address the envelopes, I won't postpone sending one--hopefully.
Going to make some Valentine, Easter, Get Well, Thinking of you type cards to have on hand as my two grown daughters raid my stash when they need cards. Always glad to pass the cards along as I enjoy making them and sometimes take special orders.
Just want to let everyone know my Christmas Tree is still up and I am Still in the Christmas Spirit!! It took me a l o n g time this year to get in the Christmas Spirit and it is still here! If is was not for the swaps that I am in that are due at the end of the month, I would be working on Christmas cards right now!!

Count me in! My resolution this year was to make a card a day (for busy days, I'll make them up on less busy days). And christmas is when there is the most demand for cards. Getting on it tomorrow
I'm busy making cards. But I still haven't tried uploading them. May have to do several groups of pics at once.
Have a Marathon Valentine card making session on the 23rd of Jan. A group of my friends and I make over 100 cards to give to our local nursing home residents.
We did 125 at Christmas time. It is a very satisfying task.....
Count me in! I joined the challenge last August and it was so great to have a jump start on my cards. This year I will be done way before the holidays. Yeah!

I'm in! I always make homemade cards and this year I was so embarassed I had to send out boxed cards as I had hand surgery on both hands and am still recuoerating. Fortunately, I am a righty and my right hand is doing fine. This will e great no more last minute cards in November.
I love this challenge! This is my first post ever on SCS and you can count me in - I am a Christmas nut and what better way to get my fix by making 10 cards each month....hmmm now what to do - think I will go case a few galleries!
I started a local card group last Jan. Had my cards all done by August but kept waiting for HL to have the paper on sale I wanted for my envelopes. they never put the paper 5/$1 again - just 50% off LOL I was crunching to make my envelopes out of white in Dec.! Not this year!
My Jan. stamp day is tomorrow so should be able to get my 10 in - or at least started.
I'm definitely in again - having those cards dones was the best present I ever gave myself. I was able to send them out December 1st - that never happened in my store bought card days!
I was so disappointed this year because I was so far behind on everything and didn't get to send out cards. So, mack is going to keep me accountable this year - I'm in and hope to be on top of everything this year!!
Thanks mack!!

I am going to try and do this, I don't need nearly that many Christmas Cards, but I can always use other holiday cards if that is okay then I am in
That's the great part about this challenge. I don't need that many cards either. But, you can make any kind of holiday cards you need to make. So when I actually start mine this month, I'm doing Valentine's Day.;)
I'm definately in on this challenge. I made my Christmas cards in October this year. Had over 60 of the 150 completed then couldn't work on any stamping until December. When I went to find the 60 cards I had made, I couldn't find them. I never did find them. I bought several sets of boxed cards but after making my own cards for the last 6 years, I just couldn't send out the boxed ones. I returned them and spent two days in December making about 100 very simple cards to send out. Alot of people who normally get cards did not and I feel real bad! This year I want to make up for it by making more elaborate cards which will be easy if I just do 10 or so a month. I'll also be keeping the cards in a very safe place so that I can find them come December! I'm working on Valentine cards in January so I will start this challenge in February.

I noticed several of the posts commented about going crazy around the holidays trying to get everything done. I belong to a yahoo group (been with them about 6 years) that makes Christmas an absolute joy! We're done with all the crazy stuff and can actually enjoy the holiday activities with our family because of the moderator's fine-tuned system that we customize to fit our individual family needs.
I recommend newbies sign up and be ready to participate in the introductory workshops beginning in March. I think Rhonda only takes new memberships in Jan/Feb. and then again in June/July (just before we begin the actual notebook in August)
Imagine having your Christmas and all the activities that go with it, organized so you could actually enjoy the time with your family rather than trying to wrap the last gift before the kids wake up on Christmas morning. Or knowing where those Christmas cards you made are at and in the mail by end of Nov! It really is awesome.
Merry Christmas
