Fellow stampers this was a great challenge for 2007 and I am sitting here gloating that ALL my Christmas cards are made and next weekend after the Turkey and trimmings, I can start addressing and stamping the cards my usual tradition.
Then I like to sit and write a note to everyone. I have many freinds spread all over and since this is usually the main "gift" that they receive, it is nice to be relaxed enough to enjoy the process!
Do join in....plus you get to see all the other beautiful cards that are made for inspiration! It is a win-win for sure.
And a huge thanks for doing such a great job hosting!
Sandy

Count me in too! I still haven't made this year's cards....planning sounds like a less crazy way to get them done.
Imagine...having them all done in November!
Thanks for the challenge! Look forward to posting in January!
Happy Thanksgiving to all!
what a great idea! It sure is a great way to motivate me to make more cards!
I would like to join and will try my very best to keep up! looking forward to getting inspired...
I did the challenge in 2006 and was way ahead of the game by the time the holidays rolled around. This year was a different story ... here it is November and I don't have a clue what I'll do for cards this year!
I am in for 2008! Here it is, late November, and most of my cards need to go overseas... and we've been in Canada for 3 months without a single stampin supply. We're in the middle of moving, too... I am sorely tempted to buy cards this year *cringe*
I am considering joining this, but i don't need 110 Christmas cards, but, I can do 10 cards a month no big deal ( way better then trying to do them all at the last minute) so, if you can stand seeing the other holidays mixed in with my group card mug shots at the end of the month, I'm in.
I don't send that many Christmas cards, but with the other holidays included, i would like to try. This year i am going nuts! Today i have to mass produce. This is my first year not having them finished. 2008 has got to be better! This might help!!
If you don't need 110 cards, then you can just do what you need and skip the rest of the months. Or, yes, you can do other holiday cards or thank-you cards, or even Gift Tags. That is why I changed the name to Holiday Card Challenge instead of Christmas Card Challenge. Sure, you can post those cards here too! We all like to see the wonderful cards that everyone does. I know I get great inspiration from everyone who posts here!
Good luck to everyone who has signed up! You will be amazed at how easy it is to get ahead of the holidays, just be getting your cards done!!
I just remembered something that came up last year. When you are posting to be the first of the month, I use Eastern Standard Time as the baseline since that is where I live. So if you are on the east coast, midnight is the time to shoot for, but if you live on the west coast, you can post after 9. Is that all clear for everyone???????
Count me in! I did the 2007 challenge and finished my 70+ cards by September. I think I missed a month in there and I also did not always make the end of the month, but hey...I am done and ready for the holidays! What a blessing this challenge was for me!
Thanks Lynne for reducing the holiday stress and hosting this challenge!
I fell off the wagon this year and didn't make it past the first month. I have to make 37 cards before next week now. I made 10 yesterday and only 27 more to go!! I am going to do this for 2008 so that I don't have to stress over it like I am now!

2014 Stamping goal: 5 Christmas cards a month
Okay, sign me up for this. I hope to do better with this in 2008 than I did with it this year. I totally dropped the ball on it this year. Now I'm kicking myself.

Sign me up again.... 2008 Christmas Card Challenge!
HEY EVERYONE & of course you ALLIESMEM!
Count me in again. This was a fun challenge in 2007, although I didn't complete my so-called goal for the challenge this year. Sign me up for Jan- Nov. for 2008. At least I will do 10 a month.... the extras will be just that.... extras! LOL
Off to bed now.... I have a silly QUESTION.... for all those SCSers who are Australian... is it really illegal to say "HO HO HO!"?? Just curious... are you allowed to purchase stamps that say HO HO HO?? Let me know.... i just found out that it was supposedly illegal in Australia to say HO HO HO, because of a feminist movement, saying that its meant as a derogatory comment towards women.... THATS CRAZY if you ask me.
Just a suggestion for those who don't use all of their cards. This year there were several places we could send Christmas cards (for the vets, sending to troops in Iraq, etc.)

I am not sure if I can keep up with this but I sure am gonna try. Now when do you start for 2008? See what ya gals got me into now! SCS sure is good for that:-)
I want to join as well. I am finishing up the last of my 60 cards this weekend. I have never made my own cards before this year and I had so much fun, that I doubt I will ever purchase another Christmas card again.
