Where did the month of August go???? Last I looked, it was just starting! :???:
Here we are, down to the wire, and there are only 15 people done and posted for this month. Now that the kiddies are back in school, hopefully we can all find a little time to do 10 Christmas cards......only a couple more months and you'll be thanking yourself for joining!!!!
Hi, I've only been on SCS a short while but would like to do some challanges. This sounds great! I've been saying I need to get my Christmas cards done early and this would be a great incentive. Could you PM me and let me know what I need to do to join?
Jodie
Oops!!! I totally forgot to post this here! I finished these on August 29....I did 15 of them. I uploaded them on that same day and was waiting to post here once the upload was approved and forgot! Sorry! Here it is:
Okay, I'm a ditz........hit the "save" button on my computer a little too soon & overlayed this spreadsheet where I had taken out email addresses!!! Now they're lost! Oh well.......only one more month so I think we're okay. One of those DUH moments!!
Here's the latest spreadsheet with everyone's list of cards----I hope I have everyone correct!
I hope everyone has had a good time with this challenge and enjoyed getting their Christmas Cards done early.......we can all use LESS stress come Christmas!!!
Now's the time to start thinking about 2007 and if you would like to coordinate the challenge. I've had lots of fun doing this, seeing everyone's entries and playing Prize Patrol!!! However, it's someone else's turn and I know there's at least ONE of you that would enjoy handing out stamping supplies!!!
Please let me know if you are interested and I can let you know what all is involved. It's really easy----honest! :p It would be great to keep this going another year.
I finished my cards this week. I made a total of 40 cards. I do have to say that signing up for this challenge inspired me to get started on them. I'll take a picture and post it soon.
......it's almost the end of October and we don't have too many folks done with their Christmas cards!!!! There's only one more month to go so don't stop now!
Be sure and get your cards done and post by Wednesday to get in on this month's monthly prize.
Come on ladies---I know you can do it!!!
Oh I have been so bad about posting. I actually entered a few of mine in contests or submitted them to mags. So, I am not sure if I can post pics of them yet or not. I will go get the ones I know are ok to post loaded and then post a link. I loved this challenge though! I have never had my cards done before Halloween! That is usually when I start them! LOL!
I really fell off the wagon when I left for the summer. I have not done any stamping in some time. I did sign up for a stamp a stack at my demo's and made 20 cards there. And I go again next week to make another 20. That is the only way cards are gonna get done. Maybe I'll do better next yr.
Here are pic's of 3 of the cards I did.

Here are the other 2 cards I did. We did 4 of each layout for a total of 20 cards.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!! You know what that means??? It means it's almost time to finish this month's cards AND time to get them mailed out! Aren't you glad you did all this work throughout the year???
I'm attaching the latest spreadsheet as of today (11/26)--please take a minute to check it out and see if I have you down for all the months you finished. The "D" means DONE, and the "P" or "PP" means prizes for a month. I've highlighted those of you that did cards EVERY SINGLE month---you're awesome!!!
Only a few more days and we'll be drawing for the November prize and the overall prizes----everyone's name goes in the hat for each month they finished. That will be our grand prize drawing. And we'll have a drawing for those who finished EVERY month (those odds are good ladies!!). I'll post the winners next weekend.
And we have a NEW Challenge Hostess for 2007---keep your eyes open for that post, too!
Thanks for the compliments you guys! I still need to finish uploading the others. I made a ton more just for fun! The last time I tried to upload the server was being onery, so I gave up. And then I just forgot to try again.
I will get these new ones scanned. This was great motivation! I have my addy labels all printed. Now for the signing and mailing. I may need another challenge for this! LOL!

This is ALWAYS a GREAT idea. I keep telling myself as the current Christmas grows near that I'll do this next year, but I always find new Christmas stamps or layouts so close to the holiday that I just don't have the time to do them. (**breathe**) Now after too many years to count, I have just realized that my cards don't all have to be the same! DOH! So, I AM DOING THIS NEXT YEAR!!! However, I'm going to start in January and pick different layouts, color combos etc. See, it can be done ~ well ~ at least I hope it can! Thanks for the motivation ~ for next year!
Thanks for the nudge. I didn't do many cards throughout the summer but I went through a phase recently when I just couldn't stop making cards- everything else got ignored- not many stamped ones though. I'll get them uploaded on Fri/Sat.

Great job ladies!!!! It was really fun doing this for 2006 and thanks to everyone who donated prizes and mailing $$. I hope you all had a good time, too, and had a stress-free Christmas card season because of it!!
