thank you all for your continued support. I am having a hard time getting recipients each month, especially ones that can take the influx of cards that we send. Please contact me if you know a group, church, or organization that needs cards. THANK YOU

Teresa, What kind of numbers are you talking? I can certainly check around, but I want to let people know what they can expect.

thank you Kim, that would be great! we send as many as 400-600 cards every month. I am finding since OWH has stopped taking cards there are more people donating, this is a great thing; the ladies taking cards this month are strictly volunteers doing all the work solo. That is a lot of cards for one person to process, that is why this month we limited to 5-10 cards sent by each of us. thank you again for your help and support!

I don't have much in the way of stamps and such for kids, but since they don't want many anyway, I'm sure I can come up with something by the end of the month.

general cards are great too, fun flowers, cars or trees and fun bright colors will work too. I do not have kids stamps either, plan on using lots of hearts for girls and stars for boys!

I'm in too. They need cards for the kids to give to parents and nurses and docs so those don't have to be for a child. Will nose around and see if I can find any charities. There is a post on my Facebook about sending some xmas cards to wounded soldiers during the holidays. Addressed to "any solder".
Hello! I'm new to participating in a challenge in the forums. I'm trying to upload my card photo for this challenge. It is in my gallery, and I used the code above in the tag field, but it isn't showing up in the challenge gallery. Can someone please help me figure this out? Thanks!

My organization, Operation Quiet Comfort, was a previous recipient. I just wanted to let the group know that we continuously need cards for the wounded troops and I will always appreciate receiving thank you cards with a personal message written inside.

10 cards to each address going out in the mail today.
They're not all kids cards - but i'm thinking what aren't kids are for kids to give to caregivers/adults, which should work as well!
P.S.: Mom's the one on the left on my Avatar. I'm in the middle, and oldest DD is on the right. DD used to love making cards with us, but she's only interested in coloring these days. Sad on one hand, but on the other hand, it's great getting her to color my images. lol

This is such a wonderful cause! I have been "out of the loop" here with sending in my cards, but of course I love sending cards to this charity and I will be gathering up several cards to mail to them this month!! So glad you've got this charity on here Teresa!

Teresa, I have one quick question. Is it OK for me to send my cards to the person who lives in my state rather than the ones you have listed or are they specifically needing cards to go directly to those people? Thank you.

I was so proud of myself for mailing my cards early this month (I mailed them last week) that I forgot to post here! I sent ten cards each to Anne and Angie for a total of twenty cards for this month.
