Well, I have my March Cards for a Cause for Riley Children's Hospital ready for tomorrow's postal run. There's a total of 35 which includes those posted in my gallery, my grandchildren's contributions, and those I've pulled from my stash. The last category had been posted to my gallery over the past months.
I do plan to make a few more (if possible) but I must catch up on some other duties first.
I've packed up 15 cards and they'll be shipped out tomorrow! Had fun using my new Birthday Bakery set and some of my older favorites...It's a Party, Pretty Princess and Perfect Party. Once again, borrowed lots of ideas from your galleries.

These are sets I'm not familiar with but they sound like such fun. Thanks!
What can I say....I am amazed how SCS stampers are the best! What a wonderful thing! Bev, I am in awe of how many you have personally put together.....and Karen, Amy, Maggie, and Rita! Holy cow...its so awesome!
I agree with Bev......you guys are wonderful, wonderful! Thanks so much for making SCS the place it is!
I don't know about the rest of you, but making cards for others is one of my greatest joys. Kids and grandkids all live away and one cannot spend 24/7 with their husbands!!!

A LITTLE BACKGROUND INFORMATION::
Riley Children's Hospital is near and dear to Bev's heart! Her grandson, Gabe, was treated there for several years. Gabe was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on the optic nerve at the age of 10. The doctors there warned the family that he could lose his sight and in fact, he did, in one eye. The staff and doctors at Riley were absolutely wonderful. He is now 15 and the loss of his eyesight in that one eye, has not stopped him at all. He's doing well, is very healthy, all thanks to the staff at Riley and of course his own positive outlook.
Gabe regularly made cards for the other children at Riley Children's Hospital. In fact the staff called him "The Card Kid". How nice it would be if cards could be sent there to encourage and cheer other children!
The children treated at Riley are 18 and under. Just a little tidbit!
Thank you Bev and thank you everyone! I think sending cards to Riley Children's Hospital is a wonderful thing for the children being treated there and also a wonderful way to honor "The Card Kid" by following his lead! Thank you for spreading your SCS love! Please feel free to mail your cards all throughout the month of March! If you plan on mailing St. Patrick's Day cards, please send them early on so they will arrive prior to the holiday.
Once you have mailed them come back to us here and let us know they have gone postal!
I am mailing off 8 cards today.....wow it is almost April...where did March go, don't we say this every month?...lol.
I am gearing up now for April, thanks so much Cindy for sharing this with us!
Thanks so much for the cards for Riley. The kids really enjoy any small thing we can do for them. My grandson was (and is still) a Riley kid. Thankfully as a child in remission!
