Good morning everyone! Sorry that I've been AWOL for a couple of months. I think my father's death hit me harder than expected. I am getting together with some fellow card makers later this month who are looking for a place to send all their lovely cards, so you can expect a nice box this month. Once again this theme is sooooo over the top up my alley because my father and I served together in the Army. He received all of his medical care from the VA in Wichita, Kansas. I look forward to making cards for this great cause this month!

Both my father (Navy) and hubby (Air Force) served in the military, so I love this cause! Plus, my hubby battles with Bipolar, so I understand that, too. Anyhow, I'm looking forward to this long weekend for some card-making time! Sweet!
Happy 4th Everyone!
Maggie

Count me in. Now, off to find some inspiration for masculine cards. I'm ok making a card for a specific guy but find making generic masculine cards a challenge.

Very excited about this Cause. I shared it with a few of my local stamper friends. Was very happy to see it will be for a VA Medical Center that I live close to Just a quick question.....are you looking for cards for the Veterans themselves or for them to use to send to their loved ones or are you looking for both? Thanks and good luck on this great Cause!!!!!

I think both are great, in the section above what cards are needed, it states the cards will be used by clients. Let us know if you have any more questions and thank you so much for your support!

Hi, just wanted to stop in and say I will be making some cards for this month's cause. I make cards for Operation Write Home and try to make masculine cards, so I'm hoping to have a bunch done before the end of the month. I added a card to the gallery, though I haven't blogged it yet.
New to SCS, would like to send cards for the cause. How many cards are required? Deadline to send them? I love the idea of using our talents to bring a smile to others.

hi and welcome, we are so glad you are here! There is no number requirement, the organizations will take 1 card, how many you send is up to you. We only share so that we can see what our team work together can accomplish! We spotlight a new organization every month, so the unofficial deadline is within a week of the next month. Please let me know if you have anymore questions.

Hi everyone and thank you for participating this month. I heard from Marian last week, here is what she advised:
"""THANK YOU, I received some beautiful cards in the mail….
You can tell they were made with love and I assure you they will be sent with love by our veterans. """
I wanted to share this with everyone, so that you know your donation is deeply appreciated!
Here are some of the cards I made that will go postal this week.
