This month we are featuring Community Pregnancy Center. This organization comes recommended to us by fellow SCSer Zella (russnzella). Hand made cards are needed and will be used in celebrating, congratulating, and thanking volunteers, donors and new moms associated with this awesome organization. For more information, please click on the link above.
Question Cindy: Details say that they're looking for bday, baby and thank you cards - just wondering if they would have use for valentine's cards? Sincere we're sending in January, they would be there in plenty of time. Thank you!
I will make some baby & thank you cards this weekend and get them out in Monday's mail. Thanks Cindy!

Nanci, I am pretty sure it is not too complicated - no sign ups, or anything like that. Just Note the theme(s) for the month, and the mailing information. My understanding is that you can make however many cards you like, but it is nice to post here so Cindy and others can see what is being done.
Thank you Dorothy! Perfect answer....
Nanci, I got your pm and answered it.....
Just like Dorothy says....just watch this thread each month for a new theme and send your cards off to the recipient! I sure am glad you found our thread! Thanks for taking an interest. Whoo hoo! Lucky us!

This is WONDERFUL! I just received the following email from Diane at the Community Pregnancy Center:
Hi Zella,
I just had to tell you how excited I was to receive a package of 10 baby cards from a lady in Minnesota (can you imagine?!) because of the Split Coast Stamper's Cards for a Cause! I'll send her off an email today to let her know they were received and will follow that up with a proper thank you through the mail. Thank you so much for posting us for this group - it was fun to receive the package -- like Christmas again!
Have a magnificent day today - keep counting those blessings,
Diane

Have a good weekend and thanks so much for sharing these warm fuzzies! Awesome!
I have 12 cards packaged and ready to mail Monday morning. Cindy, thanks for giving us these monthly opportunities to help organizations who are doing much more than we to help others!
Hi, I mailed 10 cards on Saturday. I am cutting back this year and only making 10 each month instead of the 25 I did last year. It was putting too much pressure on me. I do not want to get sick of making cards and not enjoy making them. TFL
Thanks to Cindy for hosting this.
Just want to share another email I received today from Diane at the Community Pregnancy Center:
I wanted to tell you again "thank you!" for putting us on the Cards for a Cause list. Julie and I are having so much fun opening the packages of cards that are coming in! We've now received cards from Wisconsin (2), North Carolina, Kentucky, and Indiana. We can't wait for the morning mail to come! :o)

I have some thank yous and baby boy cards done, am now working on some baby girl, and will then get them in the mail. Thanks for the opportunity to do this, it's so much fun!
I'll be putting 18 cards in the mail tomorrow. I'm eager to see what we'll be doing next month. This has been a great chance to use some stamps and papers that I don't use very much.

Is there a certain date they have to be in the mail by? I still have a few more left
to finish.
Hi Nona! No there is not a certain date, as a matter of fact, even if January goes by, mail your cards off......take your time, don't stress....they can always use cards.....and thank you so much! You rock!
I'll be dropping off my cards Saturday since this is local for me. I'm also dropping of about 30 layette bags that I made for them.
OMG! They are so lucky to have you in the neighborhood! That is so cool! You have been busy as well! Thanks so much for giving us this great opportunity! We are tickled to do it and are tickled that they are so appreciative, that makes it more special!!
