thanks so much Jill, I thought for sure I looked yesterday and no info was up...but hey..I have a ton going on so I could have missed it in my hurry....I am convinced I like it that way, a ton going on and in a hurry...lol
Hi guys...catching up here......I won't post the ACTUAL thread until March 1st. I don't have it ready yet! But yes, it is what is listed in the challenge. I will come here and put a link to it once it is up and running.
Also, don't ANYONE hesitate to send me a pm if you are lost and need a link to the monthly challenge or anything else! I am happy to send you a link so you can get where you want to go! Thanks everyone.....going back more now to see if I missed anything more!
SNORT! A teapot cheater's group! Haaaahaha I laughed so hard. I'd love to be in the mailing list if you'd have me. Does help out, because usually my free time is during the weekend, so would help to have a head start.
Hi there! Giggle! Did you pm me your email address? I can't remember..if not, please do and I will email you next weeks challenge! Hey, I am old...I can't remember stuff! Snort!
Mother Mark, and Jennifer, I just returned from the post office where I mailed off a package containing 30 cards, the cards were mainly made by my grandchildren for their school project, and My friend Cherie, (camerabuff), and I added a few that we made...30 cards in all. I will add them to the total count.
PS. If you wonder about the red stripe in the photo, my Grandchildren's cards are to the right. I printed out this photo for them to add to their school project so they can show what they completed. A few more were added after I took this photo.
OMG! Jill! These give me goosebumps they are so cute! You and the kids and your neighbor did a wonderful job! Jennifer is gonna be so tickled to get these...what fun, wonderful cards!
Thank you all for your help. I'm new to this & find myself getting lost looking for "threads" and such. I sure hope I can find the monthly challenge list. I'll bookmark it, for sure.
I'll try to get out a couple of cards this month. I just finished 12 or 13 cards for "Gray Matters" org. I'm giving up the housework for today in favor of starting a cat card. Then maybe a dog card.
Jan, Butterfly Goddess
Hey Jan, our butterfly goddess! Giggle! Thanks for not cleaning house and making cards for us! Ha! I was gonna say, your house doesn't look that dirty anyway! Your cards are awesome, what a fun little pair of critter cards! Woot! Thanks so much!

I have 4 cards ready to mail on Monday. I just may get 1 more ready this afternoon.
The sun is finally shinning!!!!!!!!! Hope every one is having a fabulous day.

Well, people....another month has gone by! We did really good this month! Jennifer had received well over 100 cards and that doesn't count the cards that were mailed late in the month, which was a bunch. I will get a final count from her I am sure and will come back to this thread and post the results! Thank YOU!
It's the 28th of February. I posted the March Thread a day early as Tuesday's are hectic for me because of Teapot Tuesday. Here is a link to the new March thread:

Ha ha! Now THAT's a panicked post! Snort! No worries girlfriend! You don't have to mail them in February, March is fine...its just that I post new challenges each month...doesn't mean you can't work and send cards off at your own pace...Its all good! Just finish em up at your leisure! They will always use them, no matter when they come!
Okay all, if I've received cards from you at any time during the month, you have heard from me via PM, email or (in the absence of a SCS user name) on this thread. I recently received 2 pkgs in that last category.
So, thanks to....
P.A. in Hyde Park, NY - great cards, pro-like coloring (Did you use pencils?), but most of all, what a LOL at the fire hydrant card!!! Oh how funny, my friends and I loved it as will everyone at the Shelter. You are one clever girl!
and
K.F w/her 5 rescues (now there's an animal lover) - Thank you! Wish I could learn to tie bows like you do; thx for some non-animal cards; never know when we'll need those too. But, most of all, you take generosity to a new height, girl! Animal rescue postage stamps!?!? How thoughtful of you to send those - and so many of them. I didn't even know they printed such a thing. On my way to the Shelter tonight, I'm going to run by my P.O. with your stamps and ask them to order some. I don't know if they'll do it, but it's worth a try - just call me copy CAT.
Lastly, if it's alright by Mothermark, I'm going to post the total # of cards received for the Feb. challenge on the "count the cards" thread - it'll knock your socks off. I think I probably have all of the cards, but they were still trickling in just recently. I just wanted to wait till today's mail comes just in case.

Well, sure enough - got more cards today. Thank you, J.S. in Old Hickory, TN - so cute. Paw print ribbon - who knew they made such a thing? Again, nice masculine cards that we can use for our adopting bachelors.
Now I'm off to the count-the-cards thread to post Feb.'s grand total... Come over and be impressed with yourselves!
Of course its alright with me silly goose! Giggle! What a success....thanks to all the awesome SCSer's. Thanks for being so good about letting everyone know their cards got to you, Jennifer!!
Okay, here I am one more time. I just received some darling cards from someone (no name, user or otherwise) in Burnt Hills, NY. If that's you, THANKS! This was 10 more cards, which brings the Feb. total up to 247. I'm boxing (too many for envelopes or zip-loc bags) the last of them up to take them to the Shelter even as I type.

I am so thrilled at the wonderful response to this need. It's such fun to see those numbers grow!
