Hi Everyone! Thank you for taking the time to read this post! I am very
excited to get started with this month�s Card for a Cause sponsored group. This month will be Send Love Today recommended by Taniwolf on the message board here at Splitcoaststampers. For more information on this organization please visit them on their website at: http://www.sendlovetoday.org

I think it would really help boost their moral to know that a complete stranger thought about them and made them a card just for encouragement and hope. I hope that you will join me in this important cause to support and lift up others suffering from a life threatening illness.

There are no restrictions for your card donations. Anything that you can do
to help and encourage would be much appreciated. Some ideas for the cards would be: Hello, Hi, Thinking of you, Thank you, Wishing you all the best, Greetings, Warm Wishes, Let Your Light Shine, Smile and Happy Birthday. The one request was to not send Get Well Soon cards as to not draw attention to their illness. Please leave them blank inside. I have a pre-printed message that I place inside each card. Please try and send an envelope along with your card, if possible.

I'll be sure and update how many cards we have donated. Feel free to
post a link to the cards that you have made so we can all see your work! :0)

This is a worthy cause! One of my best friends died of brain tumors in July 2006. She's cheering us on as we make cards for this wonderful cause!

Hi Carla! I received your darling cards today! They are so cute!!!! The little girl holding the bunny with the glitter and the buttons, so cute!!! I love the glitter that you added to the flowers and the plaid ribbon, really nice! The little flying bunny with the sweet saying thinking of you is so eye catching. The card that you made with the boy and girl in the garden with the saying, "A helping hand" you put so much work into the details. The kids are individually colored, the glitter accents and the border then you finished it all off with mounting foam to make it pop. Thank how you lined the inside to make a nice area to write in, just beautiful! I love the bears holding the flowers. Do you remember at Disney Land when they had those dancing bears? That's what it reminds me of. Nice job! I know they are going to love them! Thank you so much for all your hard work and efforts in order to make put a smile on to those that are suffering so much. Hi Kate from NJ! Thank you so much for your card donations. I love the weaving technique that you did on your cards. There is one that you did with a bird that you embossed the entire image that is also a really pretty effect. I love the dry embossed look that you have on a portion of the card along with the message, "I'm praying for you" and "Thinking of you". Simply stunning! I have a silly question but need an answer so I know how to procede. Are we required to supply envelopes with the cards? Also, can my kids participate-making their cards out of stickers and such?

It's definitely not required to send envelopes, just appreciated. I think it would be wonderful to have your kids involved with making cards. I think that is really special and teaches them at a young age to help others. What a wonderful idea! XOXO, Julie. :0)

Thank you so much for the cards that you donated for the October mission. I love how you encorporated a computer generated card and enhanced it with enbellishments. I REALLY wanted to send some cards for the October cause but ran out of time...I need to check the monthly Cards for A Cause thread much earlier in the month!:( The GOOD news is that I went directly to the Send Love Today website and found out that I can send cards directly to them and I will plan to do just that! Thanks for picking such a worthy cause!!!
