I am in awe of how great the cards are -
and have plans on casing several, soon as i finish catching up from my trip!!
Thank you all so much for your Generosity!!
I mailed 13 cards and envelopes today via Flat Rate Priority Mail :-) Thanks for allowing us to be able to have a part in helping the homeless Veterans- what a worthy cause!
Also, curious if this would be one of the organizations that would accept cards year round?

Lemme check with my contact - i'll be seeing her next week.
Another update to the list, and lotsa pictures!
My apologies for not knowing how to do the pictures better - this is the only way i could figure to get them in the post.
I've made arrangements to make a first delivery on Wednesday this coming week, since I've been unexpectedly scheduled to be in the area on business.
And now the previously scheduled meet-up the weekend of the 21st will be a 2nd/final delivery, since i know there are more cards coming!
I'd scheduled that way since I figured to have in all the cards by then since everyone would be focused on May's charity .

Please - if i've not credited you correctly (wrong name??) for your donation/contribution, please let me know and I'll make it right!
I continue to be overwhelmed by the generosity, creativity and care that has been shown!
I cannot express enough how awed I am by my fellow crafters here on SCS!
Also - I'm in conference in the Fort Lauderdale area early next week, and have made arrangements to deliver cards on Wednesday.
Here's a picture of the box of cards being delivered during this trip....
There are 277 cards from SCS members, and with the cards I've made and those received from a co-worker, there are a total of 378 cards so far.
I know there are more cards coming over the next week or two. I'll take care of them when i get back, and am planning a second delivery end of the 3rd week of May.
AGAIN - THANKS TO ALL!!!
Ya'all do phenomenal work and I'll be proud to present this box to the Vets Hospital Center on your behalf.
Happy Mother's Day to all!
I got back from my conference Thursday night and there was this tower of envelopes & boxes waiting for me! I didn't realize there would be that many! Between Work and going up to visit Mom yesterday, I didn't get a chance to even open anything till this morning - and again am completely overwhelmed by you fine ladies!!

I think I've accounted for them all! Pictures to follow when the sun comes up and I can get enough light for good shots!
And secondly - I was unable to do the delivery of cards this past Wednesday as planned - as my contact ended up at another hospital attending to family. We're still on for later this month so I'll be delivery everything I've got at that time.
And also confirming if the VA Hospital would be willing to take cards all year long, as has been requested.
And hopefully I'll get some time today to start making cards up for May's CFAC Charity!
Glad I could help. This was my first time sending cards, and it was nerve wracking sending them from Adelaide (South Australia) and hoping they would arrive in time. Thanks for including the list of makers and the photos.
thanks for inspiring me to actually participate

and Pictures:
I'll be delivering the cards on Thursday morning. I've had to graduate to 2 boxes to the over 500 cards - and will post pictures after i deliver.
I cannot express enough, as hostess, and on behalf of the Vets Center, how overwhelmingly touched i am by yo'alls generosity!
The cards are beautiful!! All packaged up and ready for delivery they make a definitive statement of support for our Veterans that I cannot help but be to be in awe of. From every corner and cranny of my heart, I thank you all for your efforts, creativity, and generosity!
Just a quick followup
The cards were delivered! And they are THRILLED beyond with the support and how great the cards are! I wasn't able to get any pictures, but it was quite enjoyable watching the staff sliding the boxes back and forth across the counter, fingering through and cooing and ooohhhing and aaahhhhing!
On behalf of the Vets Center - THANK YOU SO MUCH for your support and generositity - and creativity!!!
I've received 3 more packages of cards, and will be getting them to the Vets Center on my next trip to the East Coast of Florida.
Thank you again for your support and generosity!
