Teresa! Thank you so much for spotlighting us this month. Thank you for all you do here at SCS. Cards for a Cause would not be the same without you! Hugs to you!
Ladies, thanks to all of you participating this month (and every month)! As soon as Rita lets me know your cards have arrived I will let you all know. Thank you all for your beautiful work and generosity.
Happy Easter!!!
This is why I joined this site, but I have one question. Are these cards for us to give or are they for us to make for others to give? I'm hoping they are for someone else sign and give.

I will start putting together a box of cards for this. When I was a young woman my nana was one of the first group to participate in a pilot hospice program at Yale New Haven Hospital. This was long before hospice had care facilities and such. I think this is a very noble group to support!

Kathy, you must be so proud of your nana. It's the hard work and caring put into those pilot programs that have grown hospice care into what it is today.
Rita called me today with an update. Packages arrived from Sarah Raives (5) and Sharon Huffman (65) totaling 70 more gorgeous cards! Thank you all so much!
I just joined this group last month and am so excited to participate in the "Cards for a Cause", especially this cause as it is in my home state and very close to my heart. I mailed 15 cards today. Cant wait for next month.

I have another update from Rita. She has received a total of 70 cards from Deanna Amrhein, Pam from NY, Jan Schilling, Lorraine Davis and Deb Pollack. She said that they are once again just beautiful! Everyone at the Hospice is so thankful to have them. They are truly appreciative.
Rita asked me to thank all of you for the notes that you have sent along with your cards. She is really touched by your kind words. Due to age related issues she is unable to use the computer to send thank you notes by email to those of you that included your email addresses. I told her that I am quite sure that you all would understand!
So far the total cards so far is 294!! Amazingly awesome!!!
