OMGosh, I should be packing bags, and getting ready for bed so I can be on the road before 9:00 tomorrow to drive 3+ hours to my Mom's house, but I couldn't resist one more card with today's sketch! This is definetely one I'm going to keep the measurements for nearby, as it's so easy to whip something up, and not much stamping is needed! Thanks again Roxie for this sketch, and all the great sketches! Happy Thanksgiving everyone, and thanks for looking!
Thank you Clownmom and bensarmon for helping the other players out.
Just a reminder that I put the measurements in my card description. It's very important to read everything in the opening post after you see This Week: in bold letters. Any tips and information needed will be there. If I forget anything and get a reminder I will do an edit. I do try to keep it brief so there is less reading.
If you still have a question always feel free to PM me. My email rings when it comes in and if I'm close by I always check it right away on Wednesday. I don't stay subscribed to the thread until later in the week or my email rings non stop for hours.
Everyone has done a great job with this sketch, I was a little worried about using it but as always you produced some terrific cards.
Wow! I can't believe I actually have a card that I made awhile ago and it fits the challenge. I designed this when Holiday Tag Team first came out for a mini catalog swap. Here's mine: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Wow! Lots of gorgeous cards here! And a great sketch, Roxie! I'm with my family 3 states away from my stamping stuff, but I hope to get right on this one as soon as I get home. In the meantime, I'll just stalk.
I wanted to do a second card for this sketch all day. Finally got to it and then finally got DH of the computer so I could upload. This really is a great sketch to work with! Now, off to bed. Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Happy Holly-Days
Super sketch. I had some patterned paper leftover from a class I took and just knew it needed to go with a frog. Here's the card I made for my daughter's 4th birthday today:
This silly card kept reappearing in my dreams last night, so I had to get up early and make it instead of sleeping in!! Uggh! Since I'd already posted one to the Gallery, I posted this one to my blog. You can see it here. Have a fabulous day!
I have not stuck to Rox's measurements i think it can be adapted for lots of different size cards, as all mine are totally different shapes, this one I have just uploaded is A4 folded in half and I have a square card etc, so it is a fabulous versatile sketch and I will definitely be using this again, thanks very much Rox
Ok, I finally finished mine. I had started it Tues night when Rox uploaded the sketch, but couldn't put it together until late last night. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Just a starting point!
Those measurements I mention are just for those that requested them, I don't anyone to think they have to follow mine exactly...after all - my cards have different measuremnts!
My first cards in over a week and I want to do more - I might even do this layout for some more Christmas cards. Thanks for the challenge, Happy Thanksgiving. Here are my cards:-//www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=410964&cat=500&ppuser=94114//www.splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=410963&cat=500&ppuser=94114
Hope this isn't a dumb question........but where are the measurements??
I will explain, it has not been normal porcedure to put mesurements with the layouts (so far only once to insure a large panel) but I've had request for them so I made the offer to list what I've done within my card description. It does say this in the opening post which has been there since the challenge was posted.
I don't want players to think they have to follow what I do. As I said before my two are not the same. It will depend upon images in many cases as to what size panel you many need.
It's just to confusing to post what I've done in the opening post because it gives new players the impression they have to follow but some players need a starting point and this is the easiest way I can think of to do it.
Any suggestions are always helpful.
I hope that answers the question!
Edit: my cards are in the third post of this thread. I only use the opening post for example cards and consider myself just another player...with a head start!
I was inspired to draw my own snowman by a commercial country Christmas card. Here he is Hand-Drawn SNOWMAN
{mind you, I won't be doing too many of these this year...took a lot of time, but I'm happy with the result, so it's going to somebody very special!} thanks for looking!!
This was another great one - took me a little bit to figure out the dimensions - only because I didn't want to waste any of my new BasicGrey paper by cutting wrong!
