During the week it is almost impossible for me to do the challenges, but I want to let you know that I always check out the cards that are done and this time I have loved every card that has been made. They are all wonderful. What a great challenge and I know that I will make a extra effort to try this one.
Here is my first card; Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I have a second one in my head, and will do it later AFTER I paint my front door since the weather is cooperating today! Gotta get to work, and then I can play again!!!
 Yes Ladies!! It's true!! I actually did the challenge today (and combined it with the CC!!!) Very simple card (here's another shocker...I did it FIRST thing this am....just had to charge up the battery in my camera so I could take a pic!) I think it probably needs a little bit more on the embellishment side, but it's done for now!!!
tfl! (still pending, I think...got to get back to cooking!!) Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Got off early from work today and had a chance to play with today's wonderful sketch. Here's my card -- Gallery at Splitcoaststampers -- I am definitely going to try another one. This was a great layout, Roxie!
OK,,,this might be a silly question, but I've been trying to do this challenge all morning, and I can't seem to get the sections to look right...does anyone have measurements for the different layers/sections to help me out??? Thanks in advance.
HELP .... I have a difficult time figuring out what the dimensions are. Can someone provide some tips? I'm the type of person who will measure 14 times and STILL CUT IT WRONG  That's why I'm not a carpenter
Did I say I love this layout? If not, let me say it now. Roxie, this is a wonderful layout. Here's my second card, which also qualifies for yesterday's color challenge -- Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

Thanks for any advice you can offer.
I cut my long pieces 4 1/8 inches by 1 inch and the short pieces 2 7/8 inches by 1 inch. My center panel is 3 inches by 1 3/4 inches. The patterned paper on top is 1/8 inch smaller. When I laid it out, I put removable tape on the back so I could adjust the pieces until they lined up correctly. Then I removed them one at a time and put on permanent adhesive. Went pretty quickly. Hope this helps.

I posted my measurements on the thread. Hope it helps.

Rox included the measurements in her post with her samples. Here they are. Rox71 vbmenu_register("postmenu_poster", true);
Measurements: navy narrow panels are all 1 wide, 4 or 2 7/8 long, middle navy panel: 1 3/4 by 3 1/16. Make sure your card measures exact to the normal size of 4.25 by 5.5. Mine is just a tad off.
Snowflakes are just random stamped. I used a positioner for the sentiment, snowballs, snowman and largest snowflake. The snowflake brad is pressed in the VersaMark pad, into the white embossing powder, heated and then immediately pressed into the glitter. Slow but sure Ill get my glitter used up; I bought it as a mistake when I was a new stamper because it was stocked with the embossing powder, dirty trick Joanns!
The largest snowflake on the main panel was embossed with heat and stick then glittered. All panels are sponged on the edges and the middle panel is distressed with a tool then rubbed in the navy stamp pad.

Wow... what a great sketch and all the cards are beautiful! Sitting here at work admiring all the talent and hoping I will get to play tomorrow night when everyone is passed out from all the food and football.
Ok ladies, after posting a few comments, the mouse hand is pooped. Every card is wonderful to see. I will try this and hope I can manage the cuts using the Fiskars trimmer;) Rox now that so many people have used their scraps, guess it will be time to buy more paper!
It's a Boy , had to do a second one because my first one was crappy....this image is a little blurry because of the embellishments so it did not scan very good.

OK, here is my second (with an Oooops) card!! I wanted to get this uploaded, so went ahead and uploaded even with the sponging Oooops, but will probably change the center piece when I actually use the card for a Christmas Thank You!!! Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I got the last idea out of my head! Now I'm empty and going to bed. Didn't get the work done I needed to do, but am really stamp happy with this challenge.
