Well, I'm not sure if this card is exactly right, but I hope it's not so far off that I'm cheating. Thanks for a simple one for us challenged stampers.

Finally back to the challenges after being doped up on pain pills for foot surgery. I fiddled all morning trying to finagle (sp?) a baby card to fit the challenge and finally gave up and used the stamps on my desk for this black and white for my RAKs. Thanks for the challenge, they are great for getting me going.

My hours have been cut at work so I've had some time to do all the challenges this week. It has been fun. Here's mine: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
It looks like I have some cat hair on the scanner or card. This card is busier than I usually do, not sure if I like it. Thanks for looking.
I needed a card for a workshop and this started off as SC85, but then I tweaked a little here and there (I'm sure you know the drill!) and the final product is slightly off the sketch. Hope it is close enough!
Mine isn't totally the same, but it is close enough I think. I wish I had more time to stamp today, but due to kids not taking naps, I didn't have much time.
Well, I made a card for this challenge earlier today and HATED it! So I re-did it this evening and am much happier with the results. Thanks for another great sketch, Rox!

Here's my card for the sketch challenge. The scan really doesn't do justice - the pictures look so much better in real life. I don't have software on my computer to adjust the photo.
I made my card a square one, and the image is one that I received from a wonderful I-RAK. Enjoy!
Ok Roxi, I ended up making my sister a card instead of buying one. Read the discription on upload and don't laugh too hard. At least there is no hardware for her to return.... With all the errors, I think it still turned out ok.
Here is my comedy of errors... Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Great sketch. It really works well with the BG I wanted to use for my SIL's birthday card. She's turning 40 and printed my own definition background paper using 40 words taht begin with "F" (you know since 40 begins with "F") it was my mother's idea and she came up with all the words. Thanks for looking. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
How come I can't see the sketch? I'm new and can't seem to find it:-(

For all you VSN junkies, Im going easy on you this week so you can save your energy for the weekend.
This is a simple layout, perfect for background stamps, decorative paper, long or even wheel images. Make it a single or multiple layers.
That about covers it! Have a great time!
For anyone that would like to try a different fold: the example card opens upward so the score line and fold is at the top of the card, make the cut at 4 down the middle of a 8 by 11 inch piece of cardstock.
The layout also works with the regular fold. paynete
Please read: I will not be available for a good part of Wednesday/today so for the new players and old timers who forget: This is why Ive highlighted in red what the challenge is about. Thanks!
How come I can't see the sketch? I'm new and can't seem to find it:-(
if you click on the name paynete you will see the example card... also below where is says "PLEASE READ" there is a thumnail (little picture), click on it and you'll see a computer version of the sketch! ;)
hope this helps!

Here is my second attempt. My first attempt actually looked more like one of our past sketches rather then this one. Sorry about that Roxi. Guess I was brain dead. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
