Question-- new to the challenges-- not sure how this one works. Are we to take the sketch and do a card based on the shapes in the sketch (i feel stupid asking).
You basically follow the design of the sketch, but you add your own embellishments and what not to create a card. Look at the examples that should inspire you! Happy stamping! These challenges are fun...can't wait to do mine...naptime is looking pretty good right now.

Don't feel stupid, and WELCOME to the challenges!
Yes, you've got it right... take a peek at the inspiration card, and the sketch, and make your own card based on the shapes in it. Post a link when you are done so we can all comment on it!

Okay, I think I am exceeding the legal limits of how much ugly scrapbooking paper one person can own!!!!! I managed to salvage a couple pieces for the challenge. Here are my two.

Oh no my SIL has you beat on this one but the big problem is...when she can't find a use for it she gives it to me:confused: so what do I do with it!
Another good reason to go check out Anna/Sweetmissdaisy's gallery! She is the queen of knowledge when it comes to paper! She has a tutorial on sponging in this link so scroll down to lucky number 13 and learn what I used today! But you don't have to use patterened paper for this challenge, it's just a suggestion!Forums at Splitcoaststampers
mellid Don't ever feel stupid asking a question here at SCS! Everyone is more than willing to help you out with an answer and there is a lot to learn when you first come to this site. I know someone who is too intimidated to give it a whirl and she's missing all the fun!
I did two and the scans are bad on both of them but Im going to post them both cuz there's things I like about them both! I like the image of the tree in the first one. Its dark and pretty but the bg is toooooo dark. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Heres the second one! Same thing only a little lighter so you can see the bgs but the image doesnt look as good! I dont know which one I like better. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I am a latecomer to this challenge, today, I guess. I will see what I can come up with and play catch up this afternoon. Great card from Anna. Thanks, Roxie for helping out us challenge geeks!

This one was way more difficult than I expected going into it. Possibly because I too am designer-paper challenged. Just can't seem to cut into the stuff. Here's my first effort, but I'm going to try this again . . .

Okay finally got home, cat is fed, DH is fed, and I was able to make 2 cards for this challenge. I had some CTMH paper that I thought might be nice. Used Cameo Coral from last nights challenge and I am really starting to like it These are pending as of about 8 PM EST. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
and Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Hope you like them.
This was a fun one! The patterned paper made it such a quick card. Now if only I had the tag punch....I cut the tag out freehand. Still pending 8:43 cst Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
