Ok, this is my first weekly challenge ever. I'm so glad I did it! It's not my favorite card, but having a picture in my mind definately got me going. (I think the hardest part about making cards is figuring out where to start!!)
Well.... (as I said in the description of my card) I wasn't going to do this challenge, but I needed 2 'guy cards' for this week, and thought..... why not try this layout. I never like my 'guy cards'.... just because.... well..... because they're GUY cards! :o) no flowers or 'pretty colors'!!
Anyway, I looked at this challenge AFTER I finished my card, and noticed my window piece is going the wrong way. I hope that doesn't matter.
It took all morning because of the hanger and figuring out where to hang the hanger. Now, I'm not sure I'm very happy with it. But, I'm NOT starting over.
I am glad you posted this challenge Andrea - I know I would never have tried this layout without you!! I hope I will get a chance to do another one - I always have these beautiful cards in my mind... unfortunatly, something gets lost in translation!! Hee! Hee! Thanks again!!
Whew.......I finally uploaded my SC34 card. Pending as of 11:00a.m. PST. A really fun challenge that made me think.....Oh No!!! I combined with CC23 and really liked the results. Hope you girls do to. Thanks Andrea for the idea. Nancy

Okay I got another card done with this sketch. Once I got the first one done I figured I could do it again and this one was much easier.
My sister in law found this pansy stamp for me at a resale. It was in a bag for two dollars and the bag had thirty two unmounted stamps. Wow! What a deal and I got them all! They arent SU but I'll make use of it anyway! I did pair it with a couple dependable SU sets. Here's the card made with a cheap stamp!
Here's a couple more. I'm trying to use pieces that I made intending to use yesterday, but they just didn't work out. Today, they're working out ... Still pending Saturday 7:48
I uploaded my card on Friday and then left for the weekend before it was approved. Thank you for the positive comments since then! I enjoyed using this sketch! flarobyn's Gallery at Splitcoaststampers

I was on vacation cruising to Bermuda last week so I didn't get the chance to play until yesterday. Here's my submission for this week's sketch plus the color combo:
My MIL asked me to come up with a Red Hat Society card for her, so I decided to use this sketch. This is what I came up with. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
oops.... I forgot to link my second card for this sketch challenge to this thread. Although, I'm sure everyone has seen it by now.... here's a link anyway. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I'm going back and "catching up" on some previous sketches. This one was so unique & lots of fun! It took me a long time to get the shrinky-dink charm just right, though (and it took me almost a whole sheet of shrink plastic!). I'm very happy with the result, though!
