I had fun - this was my first latch card! Thanks Andrea! I used Watercolor Garden on Pixie Pink. I had to make the card twice - the first time I forgot to open the card before making the slits, so I cut through both the front and back of the card! :P

Just wondered if one of you savvy computer gals could help me?? I posted a latch card a couple of days ago which was in my gallery and has now disappeared. When I click on the link I posted to this thread it says no photo found in database....Hmmmm Anyone know about this kind of thing? Please PM me if you have ideas on it.

Stampkat, your best bet is to go in and delete that post and start over. Look down at the bottom for a delete button. I had trouble getting one on yesterday and the this post isn't long enough to go into detail of all I had to do. But give that a try and you should be all set again.

I am finally getting a chance to upload my card! LOVE doing the latch! I hadn't done that before. I accidently put SC31 but will change it another day! Thanks Andrea!

Before you uploaded did you rename the photo to something unique on your computer? If you don't re-name it has a default name. Those often get deleted by the gallery as duplicates (because other people have uploaded something with the same default name.) This is different than the name you giv eit during your upload. I'm not sure if I'm explaining that properly or if it might apply to you. That's the only thing I can think of. Otherwise you should PM jbalcer (Jenn) the gallery guru!
I did it!!! My first challenge. We just moved and I saw the weekly challenges and did not do them because all my stuff was still packed. So now I'm unpacked and I got my stampin' fix. Anyway here it is... Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I don't know why I have such a hard time using heartfelt thanks :( So I combined the sketch challenge with a challenge to myself to use this set lol. In hindsight, I would have made the latch thinner. oh well;)
My daughter was at Camp all week, and wanted to Stamp when she got home, so this is what she made SC32 She wanted to make it like the one I made for the SC this week!! Thanks for Looking!! She'd be thrilled to know people are looking at her card!!

Finally here is my sketch challenge.. and it was a challenge, believe me,, I really stumbled on this one,,,my first try was not a total loss as I used the blush blossom part from it for this one,,, I think I was more bummed cause I wasted some cardstock than anything else,, thanks for looking...

My first latch card! It combines SC32 with CC21. I really love this color (and stamp) combination! A fun sketch challenge. Thanks AndreaSophie and MamaK/JusColorado.

I finally got to this challenge. I was totally impressed with the wide variety of cards everyone came up with. They're all beautiful! My first one was pretty plain....just trying to get the idea. I'd like to use this latch technique more often though.
this is the first challenge I've ever tried and really enjoyed learning how to make a latch card! I'm fairly happy with my results and would share it if I knew how to

Here's my first latch card! I love this technique. It's raining and I'm stuck at home today with nothing else to do but surf SCS and stamp, so maybe I'll make some more!
Ok...I finally did one of the sketch challenges. It's loaded into my personal gallery (it's with a CTMH set). I'm not sure how to put a link in my post to it. But I did do it and it is in my gallery with the SC32 code for searching.
Here is mine. Just a little late! I am trying to get back into the challanges! Thanks for the latch idea! It was fun and WAY easier than it looked. I think this card is a little plain, it needs something I just don't know what so here it is!

OK....I know I'm a little late, but I needed to make a card for my DH and I was inspired by Yvette's wonderful latch card, so I thought I would add the link to this thread: anniversary latch card
Mine is late as well. I combined it with this weeks WT challenge - aquapainters. I've been wanting to make a latch card for awhile, so this motivated me to get it done. Here it is...
I'm really late too but I couldn't resist this sketch! I thought that the sketch looked like it was going to be really time consuming but suprisingly it wasn't....I'll have another coming soon!
This is my first latch card, too! I combined with the LSC27, so it's a little limited. But I really like this style, so I'll try some more with more supplies.
