The cards in the gallery are terrific, and I like the sketch concept, but I'm a little confused. Nothing unusual about that! LOL! On the sketch, there's a line called "fold". What do I do with that? I know I have to cut a piece off the card, on the right side... So the card would end up being ... 3 3/4 inches wide? But the "fan" extends over the fold? Sorry, I am really challenged by this one, but want to try it once I figure it out.

Val it doesn't matter if it's folded on the side or the top, I guess I should have left that word edge like I originally had when I drew it up...I could change that and I did!
Also give this card from Collette a look and see if this style of cut would work better for you. She cut 3/4" off the front piece only and it's folded at the top. Very clever idea!
Thanks, Roxie. I think I'm seeing how it works better now. Maybe it was the term "negative space" that threw me. Like I said, I'm easily confused. ;) The way Collette did hers is cool. Once I get working with the actual card, I'm sure it will all become clear.

I received a new stamp set this afternoon. Between your and Dawn's sketch and the theme of this new stamp set, I was inspird to do another card for today's challenge!
