Thanks for yet another wonderful sketch, Roxie. I think I'm going to be playing with this one all day! Here is my first go at it - in Tuscan colors for my friend whose kitchen is the color of the card base.
I do have a link challenged computer...No really,I do, its not me! I can do links on my blog, but every time I try to post one on SCS it tells me: you can;t link to other websites if you haven't posted 3 times...urgh! (I'm not even thrying to send a link for another website...just this one, LOL)
Anyway, love the sketch Roxie...I do remember this style being popular a number of years ago, but I remember them a bit different...hmm (creative juices flowing)
My questions, I have 2, I'm new at doing the challenges so I am a bit "challenged" on the linking. I can upload a pic fine, but what am I doing wrong on linking???? Also, stupid ?, but when someone says "pm me", what does that me? I assume I am to post to the thread?
Thanks guys!
Here's mine ~~ NOT my best work!! I should stay away from sketches that involve measuring & accuracy, lol!! I will try another later but here's this one...

Awesome challenge Roxie, It came just in time for me to come up with a guy style card to send to my DS who is away at collage. 4 1/2 hours away.:( It might be a bit to girly but he knows me and my style. I tried to doodle a bit and don't like the way it turned out. I think my marker was too fat.
Loved seeing all the sketches today,.!!How I wish I culd try one...but since I better go to sleep as I didnt had my sleep since 2days..may be 2mrw I'll try out both the sketches..!!
Location: My very hot stamp room, in Phoenix! It's a dry heat.

I was up last night when the challenge was posted, but was just too tired. So, this morning I got to stamp. I love the way it turned out. I wish you were here to see how really nice it looks, and to go get a frozen drink to cool off! lol
I am actually happy with this card, it turned out exactly as I imagined. I love the Snowflakes set, and I love using the Burned Batik. What a great sketch!!

I thought I would try this and after I assembled it I am not happy. I think it needs more highlights or something. It just sits there...comments appreciated.
