Okay, Rox, here's mine. Now, since Mothermark told us that you send out the Challenge Police if we don't follow the rules (LOL!!), please feel free to remove my card from this challenge if the little half circle, border-punched piece above the small panel disqualifies my card.
Love this sketch, tried to make this card more plain, no cuttlebuggin' or stamps on the background. I love the clean look of alot of the cards I see on here, but find it hard to do, this is as close as I've been able to come.
I finally finished my swap duties (they sound so fun before they're due, don't they?!) and had a chance to play with this sweet sketch. Great eye, Roxie -- I loved Kelly's card from the moment I saw it, and this sketch is simple but elegant. Here's my
Great Challenge. This really got me to think outside my box. It was a challenge but I really wanted to use the Fishy wheel and had to figure how to trim to size and keep enough image to color. Here it is. Let me know what you think. Fishy Smile by cindy501 at Splitcoaststampers
It's super simple and I debated posting this for an hour.
Maybe you can take a peek at my Cool Cat Peeking card and tell me what you really think of it. Don't hold back now! lol!
I think I need to go work on the color choices... back to the craft table!
I've been prepping for two camps this week and used some leftover paper for this card. Great for a Stamp-a-Stack, which is what I was prepping for... Maybe I should have used this card. Thanks for looking!
Wow, only two days on this challenge and there are a TON of examples! I got this little image in an image swap from jaydekay. I'm not sure why but I always seem to have a hard time working with whites. Never seems finished to me. I tried coloring this image in and no matter how I did it, it didn't look right so I just gave it a hint of color and it finally worked. I hope you like it.
I'm **finally** joining the sketch challenges - I love this one. I looked at all the cards and they are all sooooooo amazing! As soon as I get home from work I'm going to play and see what I can come up with! Thanks for the inspiration (hope it's not too late to join!).
