I made this an extra challenge by choosing stamp sets that I wanted so badly and then never used. This sketch was perfect for these sets, but I'm not sure they will get much more use in the future:
This was a fun sketch, and challenging! I thought about it a lot at work today! I avoided looking at all the uploads today because I wanted to come up with something that wasn't influenced by seeing what everyone else did with this. So here's my card, finally....
Thanks for the challenge, Roxie!
In my card description, I forgot to give Emily credit for the ribbon & hardware (I saw it in her gallery and I am not quite sure if it's the same, but her card gave me the idea).
Here's my card.

Okay, now I've had some time to play, but all I had access to today was my scraps box and basket of parts. So these are the two I came up with. Not my usual color choices, but they work. DH really liked them, let me know what ya'll think here.
Finally got to finish this tonight after attending a birthday luncheon at Mom's retirement center for the May BD crowd--listened to some really bad piano and clarinet playing which sort of put me in a stupor (lol)!

Some Sketchy Birthdays!!
I needed to make some birthday cards and the sketch challenge I guess was still on the ol' brain so here's some more SC123 cards for your enjoyment. Let me know what you think.

I did a Mother's Day card for friends too! I didn't look at many of the previous challenge posts before I made mine, so I don't know if anyone else rounded the corners like I did. I think it still counts as the sketch challenge... Marvelous Paint Prints

I did the first one for the Challenge, and the 2nd one for the Challenge and Shanes Wish....I love the markers over the prisma colored pencils one. I still need to work on this technique. I don't have mineral spirits yet...Enjoy
I accidentally put on other thread too, sorry for putting it on the master. I could not figure out how to delete that post. Chris
This is my card for yesterdays challenge. Probably would have been better if I had square punches but I only have circles right now. Thanks Roxie, I enjoyed the challenge. SC123 by stacypnd at Splitcoaststampers
I started mine yesterday, but had to do a Treasurer's Report and go to a PTA meeting, etc., so I couldn't finish it until this morning. I got in a hurry, so I messed up a bit but here's my Happy Holidays Christmas card! The embossing is blurred in the photo, but looks fine IRL. TFL!

I finally got back to this sketch. Funny, but I did a 'patchwork' sorta thing last week! I like this layout, though. Fun sketch, Rox!! The Joy Is In Us
