WHOA!!! This is SUCH a fantastic resource. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! Like some others mentioned, I love sketches, but I have such a hard time visualizing the end product. The samples are such a tremendous help. Thank you both again!
Can someone please help me with these files? When I click on the attached files, a new web window opens, but it's completely blank. :( I've tried downloading and saving the file on my harddrive so that I can open it in Word, but it will only save it as a gif file (also blank).
I'm getting very frustrated!!!! Can anyone tell me what my problem is? TIA!
WOW I am SO thankful to have this AEWSOME resource! thanks to both of you for inventing and updating this sketch challenge and this wonderful list! LOVE IT!!!!!!
Thank you so much for all the time and work that has gone into this. Its appreciated. This is a great resource for brain freeze. Which I tend to have more often than not as the years go by.;)
You guys ROCK! This is a fantastic reference document and thank you for your hard work pulling it together. It is so helpful in putting together demos.
Couldn't live without this website.
Thank You so much Rox and Julia, and all the talented card makers. Now I can actually stamp with all the products I've bought from SU....and maybe even demo...
Can someone help please--I can open the first section 1-28 just fine but the other two will not open correctly. This is an awesome tool for demos.
Thanks for all the hard work.
I have a problem when I try to open files on this site without first saving them to my hard drive. Try making a directory (folder) called splitcoast downloads or something & save the files there then open it. Always works for me.

Kat, I did have to email them to one member because she couldn't open them here. It worked fine for her and I'll be glad to help you out that way and tell you how to add to the file on your own each week, it's very easy.
Just PM me an email address and keep in mind it's a good sized file so it may take a while to download if you not a cable connection.
Ditto.
I'm the visual type of person when it comes to sketch challenges. I need to have an example right in front of me. Time to get REALLY caught up on the sketch challenges.
TY so very much guys!!!!!:p

Sketch Challenge - My customers are gonna love this!
This Sketch Challenge thing is terrific, fabulous, wonderful, marvelous! I wish I'd discovered it long ago! I have actually been holding "Card Clinics" for my customers each month, where we make 6 cards using 2 sketches (3 from each sketch). I've actually been drawing my own sketches using Word (very time consuming), and making up my own original cards. For me personally, this is also very time consuming. Creativity flows fervently through my veins, but it takes a while for me to create an original card. This is going to be soooooo helpful to me! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thanks, Beate, for Weekly Inkling, which linked me to the Weekly Challenges. This is an awesome effort on Julia's and Rox's parts. Thanks so much! I think I'll have to try one soon! Everyone on SCS is amazing!!!!
Alright, I've tried downloading this a few times & no luck. I have other things from SCS in Wordpad, why won't this work for me?? I try to save it, & when I go to open it it says "cannot convert" something or another :(

Check to see if you can paste a photo into your wordpad program. The word program that came with my computer would not accept photos so I installed Microsoft Word which is a more advanced program.
If the photo works in your program, then I can try to email them to you, we'd start with just the sketch files first since it's less downloading time. If that works I'll send the files with card photos and teach you how to maintain it each week.
Thanks so much. Looking at these makes me wish Wed. would come sooner !! Since I am going to have to wait so long to try VSN, maybe I'll drop by on Wed. night and try a sketch challenge. It sounds like so much fun.
You have been very helpful to me today!! Thanks a million !!
Hmmmm.....looking at what I have in WordPad, I bet that's the problem --it won't accept photos. Everything I have saved right now is just words --lists & such. And I have WordPerfect, not Word (I know, but it came with the computer) --guess it's time for an upgrade!! For no other reason other than to be able to have a master list of the sketch challenges!! LOL!!
Thanks Roxie --never would have thought it just doesn't accept pictures!
WOW! this is great. Thanks to everyone who put this together, especially to Rox71 for your help in pointing me in the right direction, I just wasn't sure how to get started with these, now I can't wait to give them a try.
I printed all of the past challenges to put in a binder, what a great reference!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all of your hard work to help all of us here!
