I just wanted to post to warn you all about a transaction that I had that went downhill very quickly with a member on the board. I had PMed her with interest in sets she was selling and she said that they were available so I asked her about the shipping and she responded and told I needed to let her know ASAP....she then emailed me again to tell me that she sold the set....I guess a 1/2 hour was too long! I think that was really a terrible thing to do!!!!!So beware...The posts I copied and pasted into this post so you can see...

I apologize for this. It took you 6 hours to get back to me and someone else paid me for these stamps already. There is nothing I can do now. I had MANY people messaging me because this is a highly sought after set and I wasn't asking much money for it. It's not my fault you waited to get back to me. I don't think it is right for you to post nasty things about me.
I see my post and it states the facts....Noyhing nasty about you per se....I just think it was terrible to do and it was only 15 minutes that passed from when you sent me the pm with the shipping total and then you PMed me that you sold them....If you were that in a hurry to get rid of them maybe you should have stated that in yourb original post....And six hours is not a long time....but it was sure less than that and I have the posts to show that...it was 15 minutes.

We do understand your viewpoint. However, as a moderator, I often see that certain items and/or threads receive a flurry of input. In fairness to the community, I will state that the best way to be 'fair to all' members is to accept the first 'confirmed' offer of amount including shipping, etc. This is the most unbiased way in which our members can offer their items for sale. On occasion, someone might 'miss' the timely opportunity to "close" the sale. In our opinion, it is truly the nature of "being there at just the correct moment".

This is the LAST time I am going to respond to you but I must say that you never actually said I will take them, so I sold them to someone else who paid me right away. Let it go.

I just wrapped up my first transaction buying from someone on SCS. Communication was great, answered my questions quickly before I purchased, shipping was very fast and everything was exactly as described to me. Seller: makkrk (Teri).
I have had several good experiences from ladies on here. Of course I wasnt organized and keep their names. Right now I am having some difficulty with a seller who I am not seeing on anyone's list. I sent the MO over a month ago and have not had any contact with her since she wrote saying she got the MO and would send the items out the next day. It is a little sad that someone would do something like that to someone else. I am keeping my fingers crossed that she does stick to her word and sends me the stuff. I guess better late than never!
