I "dropped" by Archiver's yesterday as I was in the area... I had to laugh when I was chatting to this lady whilst I was in the rubber stamping area - she said - "you haven't moved, I have been around this shop 6 times and you haven't moved" - I explained I was in justification mode that I had to think of at least two different ways to use a stamp before I would purchase it.... and I found two stamps sets that I loved (and left :( ) because I couldn't think of a second way of using them....
I'm betting if they are there next time they find their way into my bag!!! AND they didn't have a couple of the sets I was looking for so I will need to look elsewhere now...
However, I did manage to buy $40 worth of stuff after using my 30% off one product to get my "freebie" MSE 6x6 paper which is really cute!
Was excited to go over to Joann's for the first time and found nothing... funny that!
Archiver's is a candy store for papercrafters! Make sure you sign-up for their e-mails - the only way to get coupons anymore! I always check out the clearance corner, the $1.99 Hot Spot . . . OK, honestly, I make about 4 passes around the store before I settle in to do my serious shopping.
It is definitely worth going. You should also check out Hallo's Paper store in Brunswick. They have any color and any size envelopes you could possibly want not to mention the card stock! The CS is only $1.25 a pound (about 25-30 sheets!). Tons of colors!!! Go, go, go, & don't forget that credit card!!! Have fun!
Just back from Ohio....Pat Catan's, Archievers, & Hallo's paper in 24 hours! It was great! Thanks to the enabler's I am the proud owner of 4 new nesties!
Next week, I'm driving all the way from South Carolina to Indiana to go to Archivers (8.5 hours)! Well, I'm going to visit my family there and Archivers is just a side visit, but I'm really looking forward to it. The closest ones to us in SC are in Raleigh, NC or Atlanta, GA. My DD & I usually take a day trip to the one in NC at least twice a year. So worth it in my opinion. Love the way the store is layed out and from my experience, the sales staff are wonderful. I've been lobbying for a couple of years to have an Archivers opened in SC - not looking so good though.
Take the trip and enjoy. Just leave the credit cards at home if you have no self control!
