Yesterday I received a complimentary copy of Just Cards! magazine!!! My card seen here was published....Yaaaaaay!!! It's on page 61 in Volume 14, Summer 2009 issue!! I mailed this card to the magazine last year and because I hadn't heard anything after several months, I thought it was a no go....well this was such a great surprise!!! :-D
W-a-y t-o g-o!!! I submitted cards a few times to publications and didn't get included so finally quit, BUT I can see why magazines choose the ones they do. That is so exciting for you.
Well done Elaine...I too got published for the first time and had 2 cards in this issue. I used a certain well known animal image and although promised to be rewarded im still waiting and feel a little let down. The magazines do sometimes keep our cards for future publication, I still have a few I been told waiting to be published so look forward to seeing those too . Keep sending them in as you never know lol
Crafting is my passion esp being disabled so not able to get out much and seeing your cards in a magazine makes it all worth the while.
