I'm thinking it's some kind of portable storage device/memory card that you save your designs on and plug into the port on the back of the Cricut.

PDA designed for the cricut. You don't need to use a mouse (stylus) and it is designed to become one with your hand. PDA or smartphone lol. Both you have to turn off on takeoff.

My guess is a Slice type of cutting device............. I wish they had addressed the consumers concerns and bugs in Design Studio before they moved on to a New Device
