Went there yesterday and every aisle in that section was "in pieces"! the ladies and men had carts of hooks and hangers and merchandise and they were working away at getting them in order - the walls were actually bare ( are rarely seen thing) and they were hanging up hooks and tagging them from a spread sheet...... Hope this means new things will "SPRING" up soon!
I saw and bought the new stuff. It is great. Stuff I had never seen before. I love the new punches that stamp too! Gosh, whoever the new buyer is , kudos!
Well, I am definitely NOT impressed with our local Target. According to a stocker yesterday, what they have is "pretty much it, at least until the economy improves." And this was after they removed everything they were clearancing and instead put scrapbooking albums on one whole side where there used to be the punches, stamps, markers, etc. If they leave it like that, there won't be any reason for me to go there for stamping stuff.

I checked back in today, and the "new and exciting" items were photo albums and scrapbooks, the entire side of the aisle. I was sdisappointed. Maybe it is just filler until something else arrives on the next truck? one can hope...

NOT according to one sales associate. She said that was all it was pretty much going to be until the economy improved.

The one near me here in Omaha has everything on sale also. I was wondering the same thing.
And my Joann's has almost nothing scrapbooking/stamping related.

We're in Fremont so we always shop in the Big O. I have been soooo disappointed in our JoAnn's. I think that Target is just changing seasons in that department. I think it is way to popular for them to give it up.

I checked back at my local Target today. They've rearranged the "Scrapbooking" aisle and it is now mostly albums - very few "supplies", hardly any stamps. Not impressed at all. Thankfully, a new scrapbbokign store opened just across the street from them. Won't have to go far to get better stuff.

I have no idea what Target was thinking by putting in so many albums! You can only use so many albums. I guess they're going to learn the hard way on this one.
WalMart is also shrinking their craft and fabric departments as well. I don't think there are any real LOCAL scrapbooking stores except for a half hour away.
Our choices are getting more and more limited!
