they make the best looking dies!!! only wish i could use the ones i have. i have tried everything i could think of but cannot get them to cut thru the paper, have a cuttlebug and have tried shims, rubber pad, different sandwiches, etc. have no problems with spellbinders, s.u. and others, any ideas, please? thanks
Sandra, I have a CB and don't have any problems. :( I do have a metal plate that I got at CherryLyn Designs that I use with all of my more intricate dies though. Maybe that would help?
I'm also a memory Box die/stamp "lover". I've noticed that the seller simonsaysstamp on eBay has "exclusive" MB dies. I also receive a newsletter from another company (sorry - forget which one as I get many newsletters) and it had a matching hummingbird die and stamp and I believe it was a matching flower die and stamp. They were also "exclusive".
Is this common for MB to create dies and stamps exclusive to one seller ?
Memory Box has a metal shim to use with the cuttlebug also. But I have found just shimming the area where it isn't cutting through with a piece of cardstock usually does the trick. If you have used your cuttlebug a lot with large thick dies it can actually bow the rolling bar and not allow you to cut thin dies well.
